The manga reading app kotatsu is shutting down, the repo is archived. What are some alternative?

was a Kotatsu user as well. Right now, I am using Aniyomi for both anime and manga, so you should try it or its forks out, just like the others are suggesting.It doesn't come preloaded with the extension extensions though, so you'll have to manually add them.

can't blame you for taking it on me, I was so insensitive to the situation.I thought like the predator problem was normal on every platform, but at least there is action being done against it.Did my bit of research, and I know better now. i would like to apologise that you had to see this on the memes today, I realise that it isn't funny at all.

That said, I am honestly surprised how DC got away with it. and they aren't keeping their members in check... like, how? aren't they supposed to get sued for inadequate child protection measures or something?

I apologise for my lack of sensitivity on the situation.You've just alerted me about the predator problem on Discord, which is so massive, I think I might consider leaving the platform now... or at least, stop checking as often as I used to...

just to be clear, yes, I posted this to the memes sub because I thought it was funny that the admin crashed out.but thinking it through, this is actually a serious case. I wasn't aware of how bad the predator problem on Discord was. Children younger than 13 are joining the platform and are getting exposed to all sorts of things nowadays.

i apologise to anyone for my lack of sensitivity of the severity of the situation, and for posting this as a meme.

honestly, I have no more hope in the AAA games, since it will be the same game over and over again with different skins or slight UI tweaks. there's nothing much Steam can do at this point, because it's the business model of these companies in the end. It's time to give back all the money wasted on these AAA games to indie titles now, it's well deserved...:bilibilidianzan:

@Coopr8@kbin.earth @fediverse@lemmy.worldi agree, i dont blame you if i appear to look like that.tbh, looking back now, i sound like i was asking for too much yet not knowing so much. i did not know about Mbin, nor did i have a misskey client. I WAS LITERALLY BROWSING MISSKEY ON MY BROWSER FROM MY PHONE. Yeah, cant blame anyone but myself.

ive found a hack: on misskey, lemmy communities show up as user accounts, so if i follow them, and add those accounts to a separate list from my feed, then i can check lemmy posts as well. Really great workaround. plus, im using Aria now, and Aria client is super fast, doesnt take up too much network.

in the end, ive learnt that on the fediverse, there's always a workaround for everything. the only problem is: us

the fedi isnt some magic Twitter alternative which just works! its a universe of interconnected software. when different software communicate with each other, its bound to have some inconveniences. but after 2 months of using misskey, mbin, mastodon, lemmy, even piefed, i find misskey more suitable for me. reactions, misskey flavoured markdown, quotes, etc. plus the workaround, misskey is pretty solid option for me. achievements boost motivation as well :ablobcatbongoultra: my brother, on the other hand, finds lemmy more suitable for him due to its reddit like approach, and my other brother finds mbin more suitable for him because it combined microblogging and post aggregation :ablobcatgooglytenor:

in short, the fediverse isnt about the software we're using, but about the friends we made along the way :ablobcatangel:

but yeah, still wish there was an option on misskey/mastodon to synchronize latest replies and reactions from another server, anyone has found a solution or even a client which temporarily does this fix and fetches the latest information like renotes, latest replies, latest reactions?
