Doom (2016) just launched on GOG, and it's on offer. I purchased straight away as I really enjoyed this one. Wasn't expecting to see more Bethesda games on GOG after Microsoft purchases Zenimax.
This initiative calls to require publishers that sell or license videogames to consumers in the European Union (or related features and assets sold for videogames they operate) to leave said videogames in a functional (playable) state.
Specifically, the initiative seeks to prevent the remote disabling of videogames by the publishers, before providing reasonable means to continue functioning of said videogames without the involvement from the side of the publisher.
The initiative does not seek to acquire ownership of said videogames, associated intellectual rights or monetization rights, neither does it expect the publisher to provide resources for the said videogame once they discontinue it while leaving it in a reasonably functional (playable) state.
I've been on and off playing witcher 3 the last couple months. Just got to the skelliga main quest where Yennefer tells Geralt to get out of his armor and wear something nice to some social event (which btw doesn't make sense, my armor is way better looking than the tunic options). It reminded me of the quest where Triss asked the same thing so I decided to check online if doing so would ruin my Triss romance.
Only to learn that I had already failed the Triss romance because I picked "We can try again" instead of "I love you" when she was at the harbor. Up until that point the vibes between Geralt and Triss has been "we had a thing in the past but it's no more" so I thought that option was right for getting them together again. I had assumed that had no immediate effect but was just one of many dialogues that eventually lead to romancing Triss but nope, that was it apparently. Much discourse online about how there used to be a bug that let you romance with "We can try again" but nobo

Like can we make this a more vocal opinion that Triple-A studios/publishers are like legally required to offer a version.. Or what is your take on that, especially if you have a similar opinion with a deviation in execution. let me know why if you dont agree too!
I'd love to have and collect DRM free titles that last even after a platform is gone, also ubi cant pull off clown shows like the crew or whatever racing game they just erased out of power tripping spite
Slap your way across a vibrant world where interstellar friendships are the key to your survival. Befriend eccentric aliens, craft bizarre weaponry, and stick it to the man in this sequel to the award-winning open world crafting RPG Crashlands.
I just picked up the highly hyped Blue Prince. On the other hand reviews have also called it a very niche game. I like puzzle games to a certain extent and roguelikes, but these are subjective experiences.
Anyways, I was hoping to get the gist of it and get into a groove and decide if I like it within the refund period.
The game mechanics are explained through notes in the game at it took me 80 minutes to reach a point where an important mechanic is explained.
This could have been done much earlier, I wonder why the developer delayed the explanation when it's just useful information
Other games also front load the prologue with long tutorials and cutscenes. So by the time you get into the meat of the game the refund window is out.
The other elephant in the room is if steam refunds are meant as a demo for everything or just to check technical issues like FPS and network connection issues
I finally found the game, it's Gestalt_OS

Hello,
I played a puzzle game somewhat 4 years ago, but I don't remember the name. The game is about placing symbols on a grid to get to a specific solution. Each symbols has a functionality, like copying other symbols, or move them, but the functionality is not described, we have to guess what it is. IIRC 40 (it is 50 actually) challenges to solve, and the game is a game playable on online browser.
Do you guys know what it this game's name?

Me and a Friend, after months of putting it off, finally managed to get a modded Minecraft server for me and my friends working with a proper domain and everything. I cut Aternos loose because i'm not a fan of the ads and the limited specs. The upside of this is that i now have a server powerful enough to run Eureka, which is like the old Archimedes Ship mod. One of the very first things i did upon spawning in is go and build a ship, which is what you see above.
My hope is too use it as a portable base for the time being until i can get too somewhere i'd like to build a base. We also have Create Cannons and Ice and Fire (at the request of one of my friends), so i want to outfit this thing with cannons to fight ice and fire dragons because those things are annoyingly strong. I have a few mockups for planes too, so hopefully i can get to the point where i can go over the dragons instead.
