Maya the Bee: The Complete Series Blu-ray Release Date April 7, 2017 (Die Biene Maja Komplettbox). Blu-ray reviews, news, specs, ratings, screenshots. Cheap Blu-ray movies and deals.
Hello, as in the title I'm searching for this classic anime remastered from blu-ray. I'm not german nor japanese and finding it is difficult. Could someone with more insight in those countries's warez's and torrents help me out?
Do y'all still consider the machine you run pirated software/games on to still be "Secure"?
Not sure if this fits here...
An OPSEC community would probably say no, so I probably don't need to ask in those communities. But I'm curious about a (digital) pirate's perspective on this issue...
I mean, the sources listed here are supposedly "safe" right? But honestly, how much would you trust these "safe" sources?

Reddit's Copyright Removals Drop to Multi-Year Low
Reddit removed just over 550,000 items last year due to copyright complaints, down sharply from roughly 1.2 million removed in 2023.
Reddit's latest transparency report reveals a notable reversal in copyright takedown trends. After years of increases, the platform removed just over 550,000 items last year due to copyright complaints, down sharply from roughly 1.2 million removed in 2023. Notably, Reddit keeps an eye on potential overreach; it declined to remove an AI-generated sports parody, deeming it transformative fair use.
Alleged Anna's Archive Operator Dropped from U.S. 'Scraping' Lawsuit
The only named defendant in OCLC's scraping lawsuit against Anna's Archive will soon be dropped from the case.
American nonprofit OCLC sued Anna's Archive last year for alleged hacking and unauthorized publishing of its WorldCat database. The sole named defendant in the case, an archivist from the Seattle area, denied any involvement with the site. After the court referred several scraping-related questions to the state Supreme Court, OCLC has now agreed to drop the alleged operator from the lawsuit.
OpenDNS Quits Belgium Under Threat of Piracy Blocks or Fines of €100K Per Day
Cisco has suspended its OpenDNS service in Belgium due to a court order, most likely a piracy blocking order with €100K per day fines attached.
In a brief statement citing a court order in Belgium but providing no other details, Cisco says that its OpenDNS service is no longer available to users in Belgium. Cisco's withdrawal is almost certainly linked to an IPTV piracy blocking order obtained by DAZN; itt requires OpenDNS, Cloudflare and Google to block over 100 pirate sites or face fines of €100,000 euros per day. Just recently, Cisco withdrew from France over a similar order.
MPA & ACE Subpoenas Target Dozens of Potential 'Burner' Pirate Streaming Sites

A new batch of DMCA subpoenas obtained by ACE and the MPA target dozens of pirate streaming sites, some with a few thousand visits per month, others with up to 90 million. The presence of a few established names shows that tradition isn't dead just yet, but there are clear signs that pirate sites are becoming disposable. Here today yet easily burned to the ground tomorrow, few are built to last like they used to. Yet there's no waste; a recycled site performs like new.
Nhentai Operators Ordered to Expose Themselves in U.S. Copyright Lawsuit
The operators of Nhentai.net, an adult site with dozens of millions of monthly visits, have been ordered to identify themselves in court.
The operators of Nhentai.net, a popular adult site with dozens of millions of monthly visits, have been ordered to identify themselves in a California court. Recent court rulings denied both the site's bid to dismiss the case early, and its request for a protective order to hide the identities of its operators. The case will now move forward, with all copyright claims intact.
Non-Transparency Resumed After Pirate Site Blacklist Publicly Exposed in Error
After a German ISP accidentally exposed the country's secret pirate site blocking list to the public, non-transparency was swiftly restored.
Since shutting down most pirate sites is impossible, Germany's ISPs are given a secret list of pirate domains to block, which in theory hides the existence of the pirate sites from internet users. After it emerged that a local ISP had accidentally exposed the list to the public for the last 10 months, the unintended transparency was quietly yet swiftly reversed. This response provides another point for debate as site-blocking proposals heat up in the United States.
Torrenting is not allowed on Windscribe
I switched to windscribe last month because the proton CEO starting spewing politcal BS, and I wanted port forwarding that wasn't locked behind a shitty GUI.
As far as I was concerned setup was super easy, the VPN speeds were great, and port forwarding worked really nicely. The whole price for a fixed server and port forward, + unlimited data was a bit much (at $95/year) but for the ease of use and speeds I was getting, I was happy to stick with them.
My setup is a always-on server with a 1gbps connection, where yes, I fucking seed my shit, all of it. I have about 30TB of linux ISOs and counting, and it's rare that my combined upload speed is less than 1MBps, ever.
Which lead me to getting banned from windscribe with no notice or warning in the middle of last week. This lead to me having to spend tracker points to avoid HnR, and i'm also unable to grab any new ISOs until I find a new VPN provider that won't ban me for actually using the service full time.
I did shoot them a
Meta AI 'Piracy' Lawsuit: Publishers and Professors Challenge Fair Use Defense.
As Meta defends its AI training practices in court, major publishers and copyright law experts are weighing in against the company.
As Meta defends its AI training practices in court, major publishers and copyright law experts are weighing in against the company. An amicus brief from publishers highlights Meta's alleged reliance on pirated book archives including Anna's Archive and Z-Library. Separately, a brief from law professors argues that Meta's unauthorized copying to train Llama is an "undeniably commercial" use that provides no new transformative meaning and shouldn't qualify as fair use.

Plex issues but not on Jellyfin
Anybody else had this issue.
I have a media server setup with Plex and Jellyfin and now people here prefer Jellyfin but Plex is available on more devices and my users prefer it.
Now I tried watching several movies on iPhone via Plex app and it kept freezing and I had to exit and start again and half the time it wouldn’t remember where I was. I tried to watch the same movies on Jellyfin, again on iPhone and no issue.
Any thoughts? I did watch a movie at my friends on Plex through Firestick with no issue so not sure if it’s iOS or my home network and Plex or something else.
Block Mirror: Dystopian Site-Blocking Triggers Circumvention Innovation.
Pirate site blocking in Spain that also renders thousands of innocent sites inaccessible, has given circumvention new purpose and meaning.
Site blocking and similar censorship measures are vulnerable to circumvention, helping to popularize VPNs and other encrypted solutions all over the world. That includes Spain, where LaLiga is ramping up its pirate site blocking efforts and at the same time (and with the court's blessing) rendering thousands of innocent sites inaccessible due to overblocking. People are now fighting back against dystopia, transforming conventional site blocking workarounds into tools that reinstate freedom of expression.
Tribler - Is it any good? If not, is there anything as private as Tor for torrents?
I am not in a place where I can afford a VPN (do not start suggesting cheap VPNs to me istg), and in addition, you have to place a lot of trust in the VPN. Tribler seems promising, except... For the giant disclaimer that's been on the site for years. That worries me. I am quite worried about getting scary letters from my ISP or something when torrenting.
Do not put yourself in danger. Our anonymity is not yet mature.
Tribler does not protect you against spooks and government agencies. We are a torrent client and aim to protect you against lawyer-based attacks and censorship. With help from many volunteers we are continuously evolving and improving.
Edit: Seems like there are a lot of issues below the surface as well... https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/post/19118584/10120234

What to do with !retropirates?
I was made a moderator of [email protected] a while back, but now I'm not sure what to do with it. Direct links to newly dumped titles would be a violation of rule 3 (only reason I left the Grimace's Birthday post up is because the game was free in the first place so who cares). [email protected] exists, and it itself is already niche but more popular than [email protected]...
I'm not sure what to do with it that couldn't already be done in !piracy or [email protected]... Do y'all think there's a good place for it on here? What would be a good way to differentiate it from [email protected] and [email protected]?
Domain Registry Investigates Spain's Piracy Overblocking Damage.
The Catalan (.cat) domain registry is actively monitoring its domains for overblocking and says it reserves the right to take legal action.
Under a court order obtained by LaLiga and Telefonica, Spanish ISPs now conduct broad blocking of live pirated sports streams. These measures target shared Cloudflare infrastructure and have many third-party intermediaries concerned due to widespread overblocking. The Catalan (.cat) domain registry is actively monitoring domains for fallout and says it reserves the right to take legal action.

Adult entertainment company Flava Works is demanding millions in damages in a new lawsuit targeting members of a private gay torrent site.
