  • "deleted by creator"

What a brave thing to say...

  • twenty-first

  • Yes, Master Oppo Rancicis

  • Our mods are the best!

  • *Soviet peoples (they were more than just Russians)

  • Don't say that in front of Elon Musk!

  • Hrm

I do not mind Dems trying to help, but honestly, them constantly kowtowing to Trump in a lot of other cases does them no credit.

I will hope for the best. It does not help that the person seemed to be a union member as well, which smacks of it being also an implicit attack on unions.

But of course, as someone that counts as Latinx, this is pretty worrying on a personal level.

  • Of course, I will absolutely be truthful about everything when it comes to the process, if I decide to continue.

  • That's... something I haven't thought of and didn't think you could do...

  • SO I've done the wrong one, then...

I should be going for disability assistance (SSDI), NOT SSI (which is what I think I was doing.

Okay, knowing what you've told me, I'll probably forego taking SSDI.

    Thanks!

  • Gotchu.

Maybe I should limit my fundraising to stuff I absolutely need because there are currently stuff that I absolutely need that are out of my reach.

  • Meanwhile, I should add, I have read the first two books I mentioned above at the very beginning of my original post and I can honestly vouch for them.

But honestly not the Shanghai one.

  • Definitely Soviet as well as the Manual of Marxism-Leninism: Second Edition by Otto Wille Kuusinen

    My honest opinion:

The Shanghai textbook is honestly garbage compared to the Soviet one, imho.

It's too "ideological" in its prose and keeps swiping at imagined enemies, tbh, which honestly kinda speaks to the growing dumbassery of the cultural revolution (a period in which nothing - and you can all argue with me on this, but that's what my Chinese comrades say - nothing was achieved, either in the short-term or ultimately). I've watched the Yukong documentary and a few pro-cultrev documentaries, but they're just fucking garbage, in my eyes, because they really whitewash the fuck-up that was that time-period and the "Great Leap Forward."

Do not get me wrong: things were achieved, such as women's equality, the banning of foot-binding and slavery, etc., that had nothing to do with the cult-rev or Great Leap Forward.

The Soviet Union after 1956 was flawed, but frankly? China and Deng's revolutionary reforms were needed; nothing was being accomplished except nukes and... useless pig-iron.

That said... The Sino-Soviet split was stupid and China helped many nations in Africa (so did the Soviet Union, but that's a discussion for a different time).

Also, USSR was needlessly antagonistic, though so was the PRC.

Okay, but seriously, I've seen excerpts of the Shanghai textbook and I know people that have read it, and what I've read doesn't inspire confidence.

    IMHO.

  • A denial lawyer is something I haven't thought of! Thank you!

And you think you'll be able to get from step 3 to 5?

Well, let me know if I'm missing anything at all and if I should know anything at all.

What's a way to get SSDI (I think that's the acronym)?

I thought I had it. I put in 10 disabilities which I had and I wasn't lying about any of them. I would honestly never commit fraud, despite my circumstances, and never intend to.

But they said that I "didn't work enough hours."

I'm not sure how to make it go to my credit (Social Security credits, that is).

How many jobs or hours should you work?

I can also give you all the full message through a DM, perhaps.

I've worked, I think, eight jobs in total in the last decade with one year that I wasn't working (during the pandemic). Frankly, I could use the money; I'm trying to get into nursing school, though am getting my CNA first. And I need a car now. I have a Bachelor's degree in Communications, but want to change my career path for the time being.

To be fair, I didn't put all my work experience and there's more that I could put.
