  • No port forwarding really kills the utility though - I mainly use the VPN to do port forwarding (e.g. for video games, Plex, etc.) as my ISP is shit.

Like I'm not worried about state-level de-anonymisation, I just want to be able to share services remotely and have a minimum level of anonymity.

  • Hamas is still holding innocent Israelis hostage and sexually assaulting them.

If Morocco sent gangs over the Spanish border to rape and murder (even babies) and took hundreds of hostages, no-one would ask Spain to negotiate a ceasefire while the hostages are still suffering.

Hamas must be destroyed. It's disgusting that the EU and UN have been funding them directly.

  • Because now you can just use Linux or BSD. That wasn't the case when Linux was developed.

So it only really makes sense for special cases - like Huawei's new OS for phones (they cannot use Android), or Google's attempt at a new kernel for Android too (they want to escape the GPL).

  • Innocent people have died, why are you making jokes about a fictional video game (clear evidence the propaganda works) and accusing them of being executed by their own government like a 9/11 Truther?

ISIS have claimed responsibility. We should show solidarity with the victims - we too have been victims of similar ISIS attacks in the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Israel, etc.

Hopefully Russia can do well in the fight against Islam.

Solasta has excellent Steam Deck support btw

Solasta: Crown of the Magister has incredible Steam Deck support btw and is currently on a 60% sale. I bought it as I have some flights coming up and wanted to get more familiar with D&D5e before BG3 comes out.

Obviously buying it right now is a bit like "we have Baldur's Gate 3 at home..." but I was pleasantly surprised by how great the Steam Deck support is. It's like they must've tested it on the Steam Deck specifically.

There's a few minor issues with small text, but aside from that it's great.

It's awesome to see games get official controller support for the Steam Deck. Hopefully Baldur's Gate 3 will have as great support as well.

What are your favourite offline, low power-usage games?

I'll be travelling soon and was wondering what are good games for low power-usage and offline?

    Previously I enjoyed:

    • Into The Breach
    • Baba Is You
    • Vampire Survivors
    • Super Mario All-Stars (SNES)

At the moment I'm planning to set up:

    • Lufia 2 (SNES)
    • Shadowrun (SNES + Genesis versions)
    • Golden Sun (GBA)
    • A Link To The Past (SNES)
    • Minish Cap (GBA)
    • A Link Between Worlds (NDS) - never played it, hopefully the controls map well!
    • Fire Emblem: Awakening (NDS) - same as above, never had a NDS
    • Oracle Of Ages (GBA)
    • Chrono Trigger (SNES)
    • Ogre Battle 64 (N64) - not sure how bad the power usage is on the N64 emulators

Maybe the Ace Attorney and Professor Layton series too which I haven't played. Also GTA1, London and 2 if they work. I love Advance Wars too but I've played it too many times already.

Basically anything that is easy to run, low power, and easy to play with just the controls and small screen in a cramped space. Ideally nothing too difficult / stressful like Hol
