I got invited to a party once. Well, a search party. But then they cancelled it when they found out it was for my dog. They figured it was in a better place wherever it ran off to.

I got through all the demo levels for this, not sure my brain can handle the full version yet but it was well designed.
They (probably) aren't trying to be rude, they are just happy to have an answer they can give quickly and appear helpful. They are oblivious to existing conversations or the communication processing talents of others.
Pathetic but cute. Aw, isn't that baby 3 legged frog just shlarmle.
If it's just a matter of pulse selecting the wrong device I also had that issue and was able to work around it by adding a line to the end of my: /etc/pulse/default.pa
set-card-profile alsa_card.pci-0000_0e_00.3 output:analog-stereo+input:analog-stereo
You can get the correct name for your device with: pacmd list-sinks
https://tildes.net/ is still quite active and while the interface is similar to old reddit the focus is more on discussions than sharing links.
Being a teacher
Clearly they thought the numbers were imaginary so they colored them both red AND blue which of course makes green. Is it time for recess yet?
Steam is way better now at weeding those out of the stats that show on the store page. Vote brigading still happens of course but a couple minutes of skimming top reviews will make that obvious.
The trick is to pay attention to reviews and not waste time on the garbage. When a game is 97% recommended out of 150,000+ reviews it might be worth checking out.
OCCT Now Available on Linux and soon on Steam

Love to see more benchmark apps, the few we've had don't all get updated that often.
Agreed, but you still need a confirmation on the quit button to ask if you are sure you want to quit without saving.
I like to try and combine these to see what kind of reactions I get.

AMD has released ACS: A new fork of the Weston compositor to use with their GPUs in Wayland.
If you copied over your home user folder there may be some permission issues in the hidden directories where apps store their settings. If you suspect anything in your user directory might be an issue test creating and logging in with a new user account and see if everything works there.
Sounds like a permission problem from migrating files over, run steam from terminal to see precise errors.
They frequently do! Like when they report on catastrophic flooding by finding a stopped up drain and standing in it ankle deep and shouting about how awful it is as cars drive by behind them on the slightly wet roads.
There has been some recent investment in trying to make plant based rubber in the US again:

We even have an app for it now: apt install hollywood
Commercial yogurt. Yeah maybe it's just a tasty and healthy probiotic. Or maybe it's a way for food conglomerates to change our gut bacteria so that we crave even more foods with cheap sugar.
Would I rather live in a world where sometimes people take advantage of kindness or a world where nobody helps anyone in need? I'll take the former.
Dome Keeper isn't too bad. Hoping they add co-op soon. Their next game looks amazing though:

oh wow you can.. i guess it's a bug they left it out of the tool-tip! I was mostly using it as a backup to keep nutrients alive to restart the system if issues came up. But being able to use an assembler means that can all just be done with a circuit.
Yeah, that's how I discovered it, tried to put in production modules in my spoil->nutrient makers and they end up burning more than they produce!
A month in and still learning new things.
I only just discovered that efficiency modules work in biochambers to reduce nutrient cost! Such a game changer for Gleba.

While the gameplay isn't for everyone I think the yearly TI production can be pretty fun to watch with how excited the crowd and casters can get when the action happens. Valve has also done a good job keeping the native Linux client up to date, though the change to SDL3 had a few bumps Icculus was able to help get most of those sorted out now.
