Space and time are not the same thing, they are facets of spacetime. We are only able to traverse space because we can properly perceive it, we do not have the ability to traverse time. I obviously understand the movie is fiction, it's still a decent attempt at showing what it might be like to be able to truly perceive and traverse time. Our way to understand it (as depicted in Arrival) is the ability to actually see and experience the past and the future. You and I and no being we know about has the ability to see anything except the present.
As an example, the screen you are reading this on presents a 2d image. It does not have the ability to produce a 3d image (though we can make illusions that seem like it sometimes). That screen is constantly moving through 3d space (on spaceship Earth), but you still wouldn't say that it's presenting a 3d image because it doesn't have the ability to directly interact with that space. Just like how we are moving through time but don't have the ability to directly interact with that spacetime.
No we don't, we perceive the present. We perceive length width and height, and have the ability to traverse that space. We don't have currently have the ability to experience anything other than the current moment. Have you seen the movie Arrival? That's an attempt to show what truly perceiving time would be like.

I don't think I was totally clear. It's not that I think they have no fault in the matter, but I don't think they're the root of the problem. Nor do I think that being mad at them does anything to address our current situation. My point is, direct the blame at those most responsible. The oligarchs and the right wing politicians have earned at least 99% of the blame for where we're at. I don't see any point in attacking the victims of propaganda, even if you think you wouldn't have fallen for it.

Should I start paying my student loans again?
I, like many and hopefully some of y'all, stopped paying my student loans during Covid and never restarted paying because we're supposed to have gotten relief from this debt that should've never existed in the first place. Now we have Trump coming back which kills the possibility of debt relief. So should I start repaying so I don't get my wages garnished? Or do we think the government is going to be too inefficient to come after it?
Edit: At one point when I heard that it was the only way to get forgiveness, I moved all my debt from a third party to being a government loan. Does that change anything?
What's the weirdest premise for a celebrity interview show that was produced?
Was talking about hot ones and how the premise isn't totally random for the states. Got to thinking about what celebrity interview shows exist out there that are actually fucking bonkers but my googling didn't turn anything up.
So anyone know of any truly weird premises that have been produced? Any language, any medium (TV, internet, etc), any year. Disqualifying factors would be, it can't be scripted (like between two ferns), and the primary reason the interviewee is there has to be for the interview (as in no game shows). It should also be primarily interviewing celebrities and important people, but that can be a soft rule.
(I'm especially hoping for some bonkers premises from Japan.)

Way late edit here, I agree with the disapproval of my statement. I was thinking about how LLM's kind of work the same way. Designed by humans to make something humans can already do but thousands of times faster. However "revolutionary" was very much the wrong word choice.

Don't vote for president if you don't want to, I get it. It's stupid we only have 2 options, especially when both are in mental decline and show little to no ambition to reduce needless deaths and suffering. My college roommate had this little box that had 2 controllers and RCA'd into the TV that contained basically every game from the most important retro consoles. All the important consoles and games pre y2k. Including Nintendo, Atari, Sega, and maybe some arcade. I assume I can't get it through normal channels because of some of those roms are unsanctioned, but where might I get something like that? Thanks!
