  • Seriously, calling me ignorant when I'm literally asking questions. When I'm genuinely curious if this would cause a similar issue.

So fucking sick of how toxic this platform is. No leeway to have an actual discussion or curiosity. Always people looking for a fight and acting superior.

  • I feel like that's too many in one area? Don't you have to be worried about the refraction from these? I remember a story of birds getting fried flying over a solar field in the desert, not sure if that would be the same case

Downvoted for wanting to learn, what a day! Thanks to those who commented ^^

  • You can rewrite it as much as you want, but no, he did say that. It's even in the post.

"to those who have said he’s “only doing this for the money", Szymanski tweeted: “Yes, no fucking shit."

I have no idea why everyone is taking this so personally. I said it's not the game for me, and you all melted LMAO

  • That's fine, I wasn't going to buy it anyway :) especially if the creator only did it for the money. I will stick to indie games creators make because they like games <3

Edit: hahaha apparently I hurt some people's feelings by having an opinion. Too bad. Indie game isn't worth $6, and it's made by someone who doesn't care about the game, but yeah, go off. I'm going to go play Stardew, something worth money by someone who cares about their game :)

  • Is your cat peeing somewhere? If they don't pee in 24 hours, thats a vet visit. Just had to take mine in to the ERvet for that. Make sure she is drinking plenty of water. 13 is only middle age if she's getting regular checkups and love :)

I wouldn't worry about the kitten too much, they'll come around. I think you're doing everything right so far! As the other commenter said, introducing them through playtime could help, or doing the trick of feeding them near each other. (Which is easier if your cat is food motivated, but it doesn't sound like old lady is, ahh the struggles)

How to report a community to an instance?

I'm reporting posts promoting spousal abuse and animal abuse, and yet they stay up.

I'm not sure how reporting works here - do lemmy world moderators ever see them? If not, how do I report the community for inadequate moderation?

    Thank you!

Tried recreating the painting from The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides's book. With bing image creator.

haven't had a good day for weeks

The dishes are piling up. My apartment is a mess. I can't stand long enough to make a decent meal. My tasks are falling way behind at work. The physical therapy exercises just stopped helping one day. Ibuprofen makes my stomach cramp, pretty sure I have a hernia, or at least it's warning me it's close. Weed doesn't dull the pain anymore. I miss my good days.

difference between a statement and a complaint?

What is the difference between a complaint and a statement? If theres anyone with a better set of social skills here to help a dude out lol

Ie when you're chilling watching TV and somebody asks you to go out, but you respond with no thanks, I'm tired. Would stating you're tired be considered a complaint?

Just had a similar action with an NT friend, who says I complain about being tired a lot. When I look back and I never bring it up unprompted, and they comment on my mood so i tell them whats up.. is there some social thing which simply stating you feel negative is seen as a complaint?

Edit: thanks so much for all the comments! I should have been more specific, the examples I gave were not my actual experiences. In fact if I were to be more specific, it's my roommate that made me think about this, and they never want to go out lol. But I can still gain some insight from the comments! But it was much more generalized. Actual interaction: we are going about our day and my roommate c
