Feuerwear bags, backpacks and accessories and wallets made out of recycled fire hose which are as unique as your lifestyle.
I see only in-ear or over/on-ear on their website
Thanks, I fixed it
Thanks, added to my list!
Those are unfortunately open-back and not open-ear.
Those are open-back, not open-ear.
No open-ears as far as I can see

Looking for European earbud producer with open-ear design
I'm currently looking to replace my in-ears (which are slowly dying) and I have settled on the open-ear form factor. Unfortunately open-ears are not very common, so I've had trouble finding many European options. I'd settle for a European company, because produced in Europe is even more difficult to find.
What I found so far:
- Nothing Open Ear (UK, produced in China)
Suunto Aqua/Wing/Sonic (Finland, probably produced in Chinaapparently completely Chinese now- Teufel Airy Open TWS (Germany, probably produced in China)
- Beyerdynamic Veerio 200 (Germany, 85% of all Beyerdynamic products produced in Germany)
Please do not confuse open-back (full-size over-ear) and open-ear (small form factor).
European brands I have checked which do not have open-ears:
- Steelseries
- Bang & Olufsen
- Austrian Audio
- Sennheiser
- Meze
- Fairphone
- Valco
- Fresh 'n Rebel
- Jabra
Brands with open-ears but not European:
- Shokz
- Bose
- JBL
- Suunto (used to be Finnish, now 100% Chinese)

Feuerwear - Products from upcycled firehose made in Germany & Serbia
Feuerwear makes a series of bags and backpacks out of old firehose. I got one of their laptop bags since last year and I absolutely love it! They also offer a repair service and give a 3-year warranty on their products.
As far as I can tell from their website, some steps of the production are done in Germany and some (mostly sewing) is done in Serbia.
Referreral code warning
I got a code that gives a 10€ reduction for new customers (and gives me the same if it's used).
I'm not sure if the code can be used repeatedly, so no guarantee that it works.
I really hope that would happen, and then there would be more pressure on Denmark to join too.

Thanks, that seems most promising so far!

Shop for large sizes (men)
I found online only shops for bigger women's sizes and while walking downtown and checking Magasin, Brunn's Galerie, Selling etc, I couldn't find any shop that would at least have a section with large sizes.
Any ideas where I could go? I'm especially looking for a jacket with the current sales.
Shouldn't be impossible. There are addons for Zotero (reference manager) to check CrossRef for citation count and one of the post-publishing review platforms for comments on the paper.
Being unable to die even if your health declines and you cannot afford healthcare sounds like proper torture to me. Sounds almost a bit like Prometheus.
You are actually asking two questions, both rather complicated.
- Is there a chemical that induces avoidance in ants (or at least some ant species)?
- Can you teach ants to avoid an odor.
After a quick glance at the literature, I'd say that there are some chemicals that induce avoidance.
But I was frankly too lazy to look into the learning aspect.
I've been there this summer. There's a sign asking you to tell your nationality while passing the person. It's just for tourist demographics and completely voluntary.
Thanks for the very detailed answer! I actually just arrived in town, and given the weather, do you have any suggestions where to get a coffee and a cozy place to kill some time? If you would also have a suggestion for food in the center (both sit down and takeaway are fine for me) that would be perfect.

Questions about moving to Denmark/Århus
I'm going to move to (probably) Århus beginning of January, and I got a few question specifically about the city and live in Denmark in general. If there is a better community for stuff like this let me know!
Live in Denmark
- I probably have my apartment secured but are there general things to look out for?
- Are there any must-have-apps for daily live? I already found the DSB app, rejskort and rejsplanen app, but is there for example something for national/local alerts (Germany and Finland have that for example).
- I already have one specific question: why does DSB offer both to check in and out for a trip and tickets for a specific route?
- Any other things I might not be aware of? I already lived other Scandinavian countries, so I don't expect much if a culture shock.
Live in Århus
- I'll be trying to join a pen&paper group. Any advice where to go looking?
- Any areas to avoid?
- Any hidden gems? Might be a favorite café, bar, beach etc.
- Any other useful
My Pixel is taking short video snippets from which you can then choose the best frame, and so far no other app than GP is able to handle those (as far as I know at least).
Can Immich work with those?
