Bluetooth connection issues
I'm using bluez and blueman all updated and i get this error when connecting to multiple devices(DS4 controller, phone, earbuds). It says Connection failed: No audio endpoints registered
. I have tried extensively to solve this but I can't seem to find the issue. I'm using arch linux. I've also used bluetoothctl to try and connect but didnt get an explicit error, it just didnt work.
Bluez version: 5.75-1
Kernel: 6.8.5-arch1-1
Pulse version(this might or might not matter): 17.0
Ask for anything, and thanks in advance for the help!

I remember he shit on new jersey and new york(validly) for having very expensive permits to carry so he's probably in a freedom 🦅🇺🇸 state.

They are nowhere near as reliable as a properly manufactured gun but they are still pretty solid for plastic and a bit of metal

Idk I didn't see much right wing stuff in his videos but he's a big fan of freedom 🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🦅

They can't rival the youtube app because if I want to have the same subscriptions on yt web I'm gonna need to subscribe on both apps. Revanced is perfectly fine for me

Lmao I'd take my chonky ass dell laptop with expandable ram any day of the week

18650 master race

I believe that the gun he has is the sig Sauer p320 m18 or m17 which both have either 17 or 21 round magazines.

For real I keep that off 🤣

Lmao if someone comes at me with a gun I'm just gonna square up with them? It's not cowardly to want to arm yourself in case your life at risk.

Chad

Huh?

Yeah likely a p320 m18 or m17 in FDE. I didn't watch the video but he probably said that in the video aswell

Wine error when using virtual desktop
Whenever I run any app, including winecfg, I get this error:
00a0:err:hid:udev_bus_init UDEV monitor creation failed
012c:err:winediag:nodrv_CreateWindow Application tried to create a window, but no driver could be loaded.
012c:err:winediag:nodrv_CreateWindow L"The explorer process failed to start."
This only happens after I enable the virtual desktop option in winecfg. I can't boot winecfg to turn it off even. How do I disable this in (system.reg)?

even my federation of choice is arch branded

Wine error when running Magellan VantagePoint
I've got a magellan gps and I want to load some maps onto it. The only way to do so is with the magellan vantagepoint software. I ran the installer and there were no errors or any notable issues, but when I run the VantagePoint.exe file, it returns this error:

Wine error: RtlpWaitForCriticalSelection
I’m running arma 3’s launcher with wine, and I ran it on my last distro perfectly fine, but this doesn’t run at all for some reason. I’ve tried troubleshooting but nothing. It has something to do with wbemprox.dll which I can find and disable, but it doesn’t fix anything. fall back!
As the linux market share increases to 4%, arch linux will consistently keep coming in. Unfortunately, this will make arch harder to gatekeep, and eventually everyone will prefer arch. So we need a solution to this problem. And that is what I have! I propose that the distro gatekeepers of arch linux should fall back... to gentoo! Think about it, it's way harder to install for inexperienced users, and it compiles everything itself so it will test the patience of anyone we are trying to gatekeep.
So what do we think?

$LANG variable
How do i set the $LANG
variable without using export
? I have set my locale.conf to LANG=en_US.UTF-8
but LANG
is still always set to en_US
which is not valid. I'd prefer not to use .bashrc
or /etc/
. Thanks in advance!

Is gentoo Linux really worth it?
I've installed gentoo but there seems like there's so many sacrifices. I love that it's all open source, but I really don't mind closed source software now and then, because after all I would be using it to play closed source games. The biggest compromise I've observed is the very long build times. I have a lukewarm cpu(i3 10100) and it's powerful enough for good gaming but the build times are still like 10x minimum for some software. All this to say, is using gentoo really worth it? I love the idea behind it, and if I was doing criminal activity I'd definitely use it, but is there some absolute upside to it or is it a really good OS for privacy that sacrifices in usability?
