I'm just here looking for brief connections with people over common interests.
My username would suggest I'm a bigger Harry Potter fan than I actually am. I saw a dumbledore meme with outwards-crossed-eyes that I think may have even said dumblederp.
I taught a liver function class to 12 sleeping students one time. It was dry content, they didn't need to know it, it was on the syllabus but not the exam.
JiuJitsu and physiotherapy for poor people.
A bunch of cookers will be out on the day to challenge the law.
As a stand alone headline, it's pretty fucking ugly.
Koalas, according to the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA), were suffering from burns, injuries and starvation as a result of the fire and in need of euthanasia.
Oh, that is indeed odd.
There'll be a buy in deal soon enough. Something like an impact, drill, 2x batt and charger for way below market price. It's a loss leader sale to get you into their infrastructure.
From what I've seen makita/milwaukee/dewalt are on par-ish. Ryobi/Ozito are great budget options.
I've got the ozito PXC hedge trimmer, blower, cylinder mower and angle grinder. The angle grinder has a bit of chatter in. Everything's kinda weak. However they all do their job fine and were cheap as fuck. I've only got the one 2.0ah battery and charger.
I've got Milwaukee 12v hand tools, they're great, I got them in the deal I describe above. I needed a drill that day so was prepared to buy a decent one and the deal was with Milwaukee. I've since picked up half a dozen other bits n pieces, they got me.
My 240v ozito mower is 20 years with only replacing the switch and the occasional sharpen when it's cutting shit.
Nah mate, everything'll be fine, then dentist will have a look and be like "that? I can buff that out for $50." No need to give too much negativity to an unknown.
It is a stuff up, but same name is pretty uncommon, and there's some level of due diligence on your part to check the medication at the store.
I do my little dog in the deep laundry basin with a couple of buckets of warm water on standby for washing then rinsing. Third fill the tub with warm water and use a jug to scoop and pour it over him.
Thanks but is that the Holgate or The Vic Hotel?
Consider a magnesium supplement in the evening.
There may be mechanical damage to your knee, welcome to being over 25.
Your hamstrings, calves and quadriceps muscles cross the knee joint if you wanted something to strengthen or stretch.
Lemmy overall has a bunch of nitpicky nerds who'll go overboard on any error they find.
Any recommendations for lunch in Woodend? Four adults two kids.
I liked when they fought for the gun like two brothers fighting for a remote. Just both grab it and wriggle.
Fuck em then. Enjoy your time here.
The doc wouldn't drain mine. Now I have a lump in my ear.
How much free space do you have on there? I've only got a 1tb in my gaming pc because media lives on the NAS. I could probably have gotten away with a 500gb, I only play three games anyway.
If you're still on reddit /r/evilautism is a much more approachable sub.
Conservative government?
I gave blood today.
We don't get paid for it in Australia but it'll go to helping someone who needs it.

Looks like somewhere between a bush doof and role playing convention. $180/ticket and an option for shared camping next door.
I'm not affiliated, just passing it on. It's only a month away. I'm considering it as its a local cheaper get away weekend. It'd be nice to split the cost of a powered camp site as they're $100 + $10 per person up to eight people.
Libgen.is... New Site who dis?
https://z-library.co/ from the libgen (BreaTheBook 3) discord.
Socks - what's good, what lasts? I need to buy socks.
So after ten to twenty five years of use it seems that most of my pairs of Holeproof Explorers are giving up on me. They're wearing out in such a manner that darning the spots isn't going to cut it anymore. I hear rumours that the company has changed hands and the modern versions just aren't the same quality.
So I'm up for 5-10 pairs of new socks. I hear good things about wool / merino, but buying anything online I'm sceptical of the actual quality once it gets to me. Even temu makes their products look appealing all the way until you open the package.
Given this group is still small and off the marketing radar, anyone got any brand name suggestions, or even stores I should visit, maybe I should be buying wool and a sock knitting machine.
Thanks for your thoughts.
Shotgun-wielding teen overpowered by plane passengers
A teenager armed with a loaded shotgun has been charged after allegedly trying to force his way onto a Jetstar flight in Victoria before being overpowered by passengers.
The 17-year-old from Ballarat allegedly climbed through a hole in the security fencing at busy Avalon Airport before making his way on foot to the plane.
The teen tried to climb the front stairs into the cabin, but he was overpowered by three passengers who noticed him carrying the shotgun.
Police were called to the major airport, near Geelong, on Thursday afternoon following reports a male with a firearm had attempted to board a Jetstar flight.
The flight which was carrying about 150 people was bound for Sydney.
Nissan service price check.
So mum drives a 2003 Nissan pulsar, n14 I think.
The new mechanic round the corner wants $250 for spark plug change and $400 for front brakes, which I hope is pads and rotors for that price.
I've only worked on old hiaces, spark plugs were $6ea, front pads were about $40 and rotors were $60ish. That totals about $125, double it for modern price gouging to $250, that leaves $400 for labor, which seems high to me.
Whaddya reckon?
