Yes, exactly as you've described. The specific combination of Jokers here is making things confusing (and that's the point of the meme). Try taking each issue individually:
Straight can be made with a card gap. So A Q J 9 7 counts as a straight. So the hand will at least be a straight and all 5 cards will score on this basis.
Flush can be made with 4 cards; and spades/clubs count as the same suit. Q J 9 7 count as the same suit and are enough to make a flush. Even though the ace doesn't count towards the flush, it will still count as the straight. If there was no ace then the hand would still be a straight flush.
The way the game scores is tricky sometimes. It gets particularly annoying when I've levelled up flush and my hand also happens to contain 3 of a kind. Then the game counts it as a 3 of a kind instead and counts much lower chips/multiplier.

All 5 cards will be counted in the straight flush. It's a straight (with one card gaps) and a flush (with 4 of the "same" suit).

A dot afterwards? Now that's fancy!

Any luck? Or have you been using a 10year old phone because the stupid phone manufacturers think following Apple is a good idea

What a non-story. "That thing they said they were doing, they're still doing it". Cool.

Autocorrect.....you've screwed me again.

Corporate needs you to fond the differences in these 2 pictures.

Ace will get counted as part of the straight.

Britain looked at this and concluded: Brexit

Britain looked at this and concluded: "make it a class B drug instead of class C"

I wonder what passport people like you hold? This sounds like passport privilege. Those with "good" passports get to travel where they want without a thought.
There are many countries where they scrutinise where you're going to be staying and how you're going to pay. You can't apply for any visa without giving proof of accommodation bookings and showing bank statements.
I've been to America before Trump and there were plenty of questions at the border about where I was going and to see my confirmed hotel bookings, and I went with a "good" passport (UK) at the Canadian border.

I agree with your comment....except for the part about a small learning curve. The learning curve is steep and difficult. You've got to be willing to jump in as an enthusiast and not a casual user. This is not the choice for the vast majority of normies (as you rightly conclude). The saving grace for Linux will be pre-installed systems with extremely polished UI's (like the Steam Deck).
I'm highly motivated to stay on Linux, but there's still a list of open issues for me (this is a year and a half after adoption....I'm just living with these limitations now, and there are a couple more I've added to my list of unsolvable problems since).

I've seen a lot of individuals like this in my life.... "I don't want to play, so the game is over". No dude, you're welcome to not participate, but you're not the life of this group.

As amusing as this story is, I'd like to point out for those not from UK: the Daily Mail is worth less than used toilet paper and it is likely that this story is distorted and exaggerated to the point of fiction. This rag thrives on their outrageous stories being circulated like this on social media.

Excellent choice. I did the same last year. I'm still on Tumbleweed.

AI won't reverse enshitification, but it is one solution in this sense:
The internet is too far gone. It's all bots and advertising and disinformation and exploitation and data harvesting. People still seem to trust content on the internet for some reason. AI will sort that out by making the internet so unreliable, people will have to distrust it to the extent they should.

I really hate that I can't get a lie in on the weekend. Kids wake up and my brain wakes up. I'll have to start going to bed earlier....which I hate. I want to stay up and play video games and wake up late. But I guess I'm becoming an old man and need to embrace the old man life.

My body has started doing this and I hate it.

My younger one (4) gets scared by Bowser and comes to me. I have to do the same stages over and over for him. But he's getting better.
The older one (6 now) finished Super Hexagon (all stages) and Ori to 100% completion at the age of 4. He used to ask for help with the last stage of Super Hexagon..... That was way beyond my abilities. Really need to get this kid onto Street Fighter to male use of these skills.

You know you shouldn't joke about these things. These are very serious matters. You're very luck and privileged, but some people really struggle. We've tried our best to provide you with everything and give you a comfortable life, but don't forget how hard others have it. You don't appreciate all this or appreciate us. We still need to talk about your grades by the way.

A retro gaming handheld console has been amazing for me and I want to recommend it

This little handheld console has been so great. My PC and Steam Deck must be so disappointed with me.
I had been following r/SBCgaming for a while and never felt the need to play very old console games. But now it seems that these consoles have really come a long way in what they can play. I saw reviews for the Retroid Pocket 5 and thought it looked amazing. Then I saw the prices of the Retroid Pocket 4 pro and it was a no brainer.
I bought the Retroid Pocket 4 Pro on eBay for £120 (probably could have gotten it cheaper, but I rushed to buy this). The fact that such a tiny and pocketable handheld can run Nintendo Switch games (less demanding ones) really blows my mind. I carry this with me everywhere. It fits in pretty snug t

I made another leverless controller for Street Fighter

I really like Street Fighter and I like making things.....so both interests have combined and my wife thinks I've got a problrm: https://i.imgur.com/OvFO47j.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/cSUfHDl.jpeg
Just don't ask me my ladder rank.
So I took inspiration from Daigo. I figure more buttons = more ladder points

White custom layout keyboard

I previously posted my custom layout keyboard which I use at home. I got fed up of the different layout at work so I made the same thing to have consistency. Really happy with the result. I'm trying to set up macros now to make annoying tasks at work faster.

Finally built a keyboard with my ideal 60% layout

Been thinking of doing this for over a year and finally got round to it. Found parts. Spent hours soldering, lubricating, stuffing with foam and programming QMK. So happy with the final result. It's a joy to use.
Gateron yellow switches. YMDK PCB, backplate and case. Ali Express keycaps.
It's a budget build and none of this is high end......but it has still worked out really well.

I made 2 hitbox controllers from scratch

I've really liked hitbox controllers for Street Fighter 6. I've been really happy with how they've turned out and they're a joy to use. If there's interest I can post the build process/instructions/guide.
