  • Ugh I was really into m+ and would still be playing, but I instantly dropped my sub when bds announced microsoft as a target (tbh didn't even realize microsoft acquired activision blizzard before that)

  • So in case you ever wondered what white germans talk to eachother about, it's 60% racism, 30% misogyny and 10% how bad the weather is.

It's the same fuckin shit in Japan lmao

(Except most of the white foreigners are pickme's who also complain about foreigners)

  • I have no rocks and I must eat

  • let me uh psyop here

  • Cory dumbfuck booker forgot his most important quote of all: "you fool me can't get fooled again"

  • Slop. @hexbear.net

  • So much paremovedo. It's very popular here. Sometimes families take their kids to paremovedo. If not that, then many places have "amusement areas" - basically a ton of gambly arcade type games like ufo catcher or coin tossers, kids will play these a lot. Typical arcade games will also be present, especially rythm games (which i kinda enjoy too tbh). Karaoke is another thing I like a lot and it's actually really popular - its not like America where you go to a bar and sing in front of tons of people, instead you rent a room for some amount of time with friends and do it that way. You can rent a room all night if you want and there's drink and food services. I've known some friends rent a karaoke room for the night if hotel rooms are unavailable as a place to sleep. Hiking is also really popular for good reason, east to walk places and lots of nature to see. Old people fucking love hiking.

And then of course, there's drinking. So much drinking. Every weekend I go out for a walk and there's 5 new puke spots that no one cleans up lmao.

E: also forgot train photography/watching - lots of train otakus and families taking their kids to watch/ride the trains. Old people will do most of these things (with their grandchildren especially) except maybe karaoke, I just thought it was interesting to mention.

Inspiring beanis post: Every bean must become a wonderful, beautiful meal before it can become an ugly, fat turd

  • Sorta related, but I live outside of America without a car or any intention to get one now - dating like this would be impossible in America.

  • I agree more and more with what Rodiric Day said about brainwashing - I don't think these people are brainwashed or being fooled, they're just making excuses, reaching for justifications given by propaganda because they want to, NEED to believe it. It's a survival mechanism, something materially beneficial to say and believe because it's too scary to actually resist, it's too unsafe, they'll lose all this comfort they have, even given what's happening. These are just moments to get through without being noticed to pick up where they left off with weekly brunch and happy hour trivia nights. That obviously lacks long term thinking when it comes to the question of survival, but that has always been the case when it comes to buying into imperialist propaganda.

  • Forming intelligence intellectual groups to go after meet whoever possibly escaped justice to teach lecture them on the importance and inevitability of consequences.

  • Actually, this is the first interpretation I had of alphabet people, but I thought it'd be ridiculous to mention the CIA, so I asked "you mean like google?"

  • I probably misheard him and he said T's lol

  • Games @hexbear.net

Acquaintance tells me Ubisoft stock is crashing cause they doubled down on "alphabet people"

  • The pod's pretty boring and forgettable nowadays anyways

  • I can see the appeal in the format because contructing a deck under pressure and with contrained resources can be fun, but as meatballs said, just play cube

  • I hate that I got really into MtG at one of it's lowest points. The EoE set was really cool, but wtf is with all the marvel sets they're shoving into the game? And more than half the sets this year will be universes beyond sets, 2 of them being IPs they've already covered before. I thought TNMT was just going to be a secret lair thing that I could completely ignore, but apparently not. If they add more spacecraft with the station mechanic with star trek, I guess I could stomach that, but goddammit.

  • Japanese having a higher average rating than Chinese food is crazy, especially since their only exposure to Japanese food is likely sushi. Ramen doesn't count cause not even Japanese people think ramen is Japanese (cause it came from China).

E: jfc they also gave it a higher rating than Indian food, I'm calling this racist now.

  • They ain't scared enough and neither are these god damned stenographers of the state.
