  • Finally got around to playing with mosh today and with it using ssh for auth it was so simple to setup. It actually works really well!

    Thanks for the recomendation

  • That is why i said I may be doing something wrong. When installing i normally pull mariadb as a dependency and that is prob where my issue is coming.. this is prob more an issue with the other package and me not setting up the database and user for it before hand.

I will try to install mariadb and configure everything before hand and not pull mariadb as a dependency of my other package.

  • Not sure if I am doing something wrong but I always have to mess about to make a default user when installing. Be nice to setup a user during the package install.

    And thank you!

  • Came to say the same thing. Not sure why people want boiling water on tap. If I need to boil water I use my kettle, and save money by not heating a tank of water to near boil all day.

  • Nose ninja, nose Ninja, nose.

  • I do use tmux daily and have a session that connects to most my other sessions.

  • Maybe cause I'm old but boot times are so quick if I need to move i just shutdown throw it in my backpack and go. I don't want it on in any fashion while in my bag and hibernating to disk means all my shell sessions and anything else disconnected anyhow.

  • Amazing how they can just hack off large sections of the customer base with such ease. Might as well not worry about steam deck support if no offline mode.

  • I read this as construction... Like Trump tower Moscow.

  • I lived in an apartment that had a keyed lock on both sides cause of a small window in the door. Was to stop someone from breaking the glass reaching in and turning the dead bolt from the inside.

I replaced the inside with a standard non keyed latch cause I was worried about fire and also felt odd if someone came over and I locked the door they would be trapped.. scare a girl you bring home in a hurry. 😆

  • Cheap Canadian here..

18C in cold months and down to 15C at night.

Warm months I have central air but don't turn it on and just live with whatever the temp is.
