  • Raw chip performance? Yeah.. but I am kinda talking more about the actual useful features tbh, for eg the camera sensor technology has all but remained the same since iphone 14, (for all brands not just apple) nd neither have they improved the image processing pipeline, the straight out of camera images are still absolutely shit. Thanks for the proRAW tho, i have used my frnds newer iphones and they are the same with that weird pastel hdr-y look, all they r offering is just random AI improvements no one needed

    Same with stuff like battery life, now i am not saying its not getting better, but it has definitely not been a focus, oneplus recently came with the silicon carbide tech but the major brands and rlly slow to adapt to that, u can see xiaomi and vivo phones still absolutely in these two areas so its definitely not tech plateauing (1inch sensors, bigger batteries), more accurately there is a weird preference order of AI and unnecessary visual changes

  • Damn :(, that sucks.. here u actually get 6 total attempts but u can only give two in one year.. however btw for the doctors exam here u can actually give unlimited attempts so you often people aged 24-25 amd even more still trying to clear an exam they started giving at 18, kinda fucked up imo

  • Yeah exactly its a leapords ate my face situation, after decades of killing brown in the middle east, and korean/vietnamese and latin american populations, the europeans are now acting surprised that they are next, recently when trump leaked a text between him and macron and macron saying how they are “inline with syria and iran but need to talk about greenland”, we saw the attitude of the “leaders” in real time, they want to kill and murder brown people for resources and dominance but think the american empire and the orange man will spare their own people, well it seems its not working out now is it

  • Yeah ngl they are.. random tangent where I used to live earlier the local shop there, they used to have like plastic boxes with a collection of refrigerated fruit slices (for eg two slices of mango, some grapes, cucumbers etc) without dumping them into syrup.. and they used to be relatively freshly cut.. i wish it were that convenient to get fruits everywhere.. it sucks you can get chocolates and sodas everywhere but not ready to eat fruits

  • Yh i suppose its quite common, but whats weird here is the sheer magnitude of the scrubbing, they even deleted her wikipedia page and i couldnt find a single fan reupload of her older videos, nor any reddit threads, and her comments section also give a very AI esque vibe

    Now I am probably looking too much into one random indonesian youtuber😭 and should go touch some grass, but its quite well for lack of a better word terrifying just how they can completely wipe someones personality like that for “profits”

    Also btw that movie seems quite cool, ill put it on my watch list

  • I admittedly am not very well versed in israels insider history but during the creation of the state most people were european ashkenazi jews, and the arab Mizrahi jews faces severe discrimination and were sprayed pesticides and housed in camps and languages suppressed, and there were some serious allegations abt ethiopean jews about their donated blood being thrown and the state controlling their birth rates

  • I agree with your point.. but i think the problem here is how can the government judge whether one is wearing it out of fear, culture.. or simply a personal choice. Now the fact this is applied to under 14 only cancels out the personal choice thing, but there is no way for the government to differentiate between fear based / internalized misogyny or just simply something they wear because its just a cultural thing to do, A lot of progressive muslims wear hijab simply as a personal choice or as identity

    Also a lot of muslims start clinging to stuff like hijab more after they feel their identity is being continuously suppressed, banning it simply attacks a symbol rather than the core issue.. you cant fix coercion by coercing them the other way, it can only be fixed through education and ground up change.. Christianity didn’t modernize while being in under attack, it modernized when people inside weren’t fighting for their existence (they were erasing others lol but i digress), but rather when they had their basic conditions met and were thinking about stuff like liberty, equality, freedom of expression etc.. andeven then it was a very messy and slowly moving discussion

    Its a complex issue I think personally, but the fact that the right wingers are the one pushing for this makes me think its definitely them wanting to erase identity/culture than anything about equality as u said
