Crop tops

  • There’s definitely a “pretty privilege” in society but if you want to analyze that via gender pretty guys definitely have more privilege and less downsides than pretty girls. Can’t think of a single issue a pretty guy would have that a pretty girl wouldn’t.

What are some other songs like 'Do you hear the people sing?' that can help bring in a shyer crowd?

  • “Israel’s policy is clear: no humanitarian aid will enter Gaza, and blocking this aid is one of the main pressure levers preventing Hamas from using it as a tool with the population.”

“It” is Gaza itself? Hamas shouldn’t “use” Gaza “as a tool with the population?”

  • Usually don’t listen to anything. If I’m bored sometimes I play games like going increasing intervals of steps with my eyes closed. I also like to try pacing myself so I won’t break a sweat which requires adjusting for hills and weather.

Strongest Evidence Yet of Alien Life Found on Exoplanet K2-18b

“These are the first hints we are seeing of an alien world that is possibly inhabited,” Nikku Madhusudhan at the University of Cambridge told a press conference on 15 March.

Astronomers first discovered the exoplanet K2-18b in 2015, and soon established that it was a promising place to look for life. About eight times as massive as Earth and orbiting a star 124 light years away from us, the planet sits in the habitable zone of its star, where liquid water can exist.

Further observations, in 2019, found evidence of water vapour, which led to suggestions that the planet may be covered in oceans sitting under a hydrogen-rich atmosphere, though not all astronomers agreed.

In 2023, Madhusudhan and his colleagues used the instruments on the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) to look at K2-18b’s atmosphere in near-infrared light, and again found evidence of water vapour, as well as carbon dioxide and methane.

    Charles Boycott

Charles Cunningham Boycott (12 March 1832 – 19 June 1897) was an English land agent whose ostracism by his local community in Ireland gave the English language the term boycott.

So you want to get involved in resistance? An incomplete beginners guide.

This is a very rough start for a guide to getting involved in activist work in your community. Please chime in with ideas! Many people are feeling at a bit of a loss as to how to get meaningfully involved and I wanted to try to offer some help.

The first step to becoming an effective activist is to become part of your community—something you cannot do online or in isolation at home. If you don’t know anyone locally you probably won’t be a helpful part of a network of resistance down the line except perhaps by lending monetary support online occasionally or phone banking for prisoners. In order to protect people in your community you need to establish yourself as a trusted part of it in some way shape or form.

Start small. Get involved in organizations that feed the homeless or provide meal trains for the sick, elderly, overwhelmed, or others that need it. Join a weekly trash cleanup crew in a local park. See if your local womens, lgbt, or homeless shelters need anything you can
