I'm going to speculate that this gets a lot worse.
So far Iran had basically indiscriminately fired missiles at everyone, including France, Germany, and Britain.
That's going to end up with NATO Article 1 shenanigans and we're all going to get dragged into.
Meanwhile the Iranian Guard is like a headless chicken, so that's great, and a country with a network of international terrorists forced into assymetric warfare is probably going to result in a lot of terror attacks that get met with increasingly distopian solutions in the west.
Oh, and there's no actual mechanism for meaningful regine change, just an interior group of thousands who will start infighting when they get desperate, and anyone claiming per getting bombed...
So what's the US exit strategy here, now that they've kicked the hornet's nest and Iran is dragging everyone in (against them).
I won't support my country sending troops for 20 years like Afghanistan again. That was a massive waste.
Speaking of, Afghanistan and Pakistan's war is just going to make this more complex and fluid, potentially dragging India into this mess too.
This is tragic and there needs to be answer for it.
It’s a girl’s school, it’s not a military target, there weren’t “militants” inside and this isn’t Hezbollah where they can claim it was being used as a base. What the fuck happened here, and who specifically is responsible?
They’ve also indicated they’re willing to use the Defense Production Act to force you into slavery for political reasons. They didn’t pull the trigger on that here, but this is now a threat to any American company/employee.
Don’t forget when you could listen to fm radio using the headphone jack as an antenna.
I thought that was going to be the future, but it’s easier to sell music from your music store when you kill am/fm radio.
