Not the OC but the problem I have is in just one private citizen's ability to influence so much military power. While historically this isn't new and in this case it does overall good, I think that this kind of thing is a slippery slope that eventually could lead to billionaires funding wars to manipulate market elements for profit.

I'm not the OP but I have a similar situation. I work in multimedia design and use a wide array of software from the full Adobe suite, to in-house command line apps, to the Articulate suite and everything in between.

I'd love to be on Linux but that just isn't a possibility for me.

As an English monolingual, I would never assume an unknown language is satanic.

All throughout history, murder was almost a requirement for creating a better life for people. If we hit a point in society where murder is not okay, that takes away the one final chip the working class has against the rich.

Even just looking at the health insurance side of things, we're talking about a horrible ethically misaligned industry that makes murder look like shoplifting. Ideally no murder has to happen, but it becomes a lot more grey from a utilitarian perspective and when considering the sheer scale that the world operates at.

In an isolated system, free from external dipshits sure.

While I'm not in the camp that would make fun of him for his appearance (his existence is already a big enough joke), I think the logic comes from separating shaming people for their body versus attacking someone that you dislike and picking their body as the target. The key difference being in the reason for the body-centered insult; one is tied to hate for different looking people, whereas the other is tied to hating the person and finding something to attack about them.
