  • I thought rabbits laid Easter eggs, had no earthly idea it was actually Jesus that laid them...

Side question though, why is the background dude in the top right apparently eating his own clothes?

  • Google's Gemini or whatever the fuck AI will provide them with whatever shit AI barfs up. And somewhere within the AI suggestion and the top 5 results, they'll just scan through to the first entry that suits their views.

Then they'll just throw whatever garbage they found that suits their views in your face. Those sort of people are unfortunately very common, they're the type that won't double and triple check information first. They already formed their opinions..

Google is NOT the answer, not anymore anyways...

  • As much as I like that idea, it's been proven that QR codes can't be taken too seriously anymore and should be assumed to be a security risk.

You can actually halftone one QR code on top of another, and either one of them will scan randomly.

I occasionally generate innocent split personality QR codes for fun, so I can fully confirm that such suspicious dual QR codes work.

So, with all due good conscience, I can't see QR codes being taken seriously for protest causes.

  • What's a good way to express this truthful though in as few words as possible?

'What's the difference between a clown and a politican? Clowns have to go to college.'

Is there any way to summarize and strip that down into just a few words worthy of a protest chant?

  • Deport Elmo

Edit: Sure that's not a 3 word chant, but it totally lends itself to 4 syllables...

    De .. Port .. El .. mo

Sure, make it Elon if you really want to make it clear, but I really hate typing his name out.

I arranged to pull out some serious front end damage dents on my mom's car to prepare to install a new radiator.

I was the one that took the photo, the other fella holding the crowbar was my assistant.

The radiator won't be going in today, but you gotta start somewhere, and a partly wrecked front end surely wasn't getting it..

Clock Repair - Jaeger LeCoultre Atmos Overhaul

This is a very interesting (and expensive, and sensitive) clock mechanism that generally doesn't require any energy, it gets it from the atmosphere.

Of course, as any fine timepiece goes, it needs proper maintenance every now and then..

Spotted on the US Gulf Coast today getting gas. Anyone know what make/model this is?

The driver told me that John Travolta is busy recording Cash Out 3 on the Gulf Coast, the car is going to be in the movie, that he just came from Biloxi, and the car is actually for sale for $10,000.

If you could add, remove, or alter one single bodily function, what would it be?

I'll start by saying that I'd get rid of the need to shit. I'm pretty sure everyone can agree that it's unpleasant.

How do people manage to actually get jobs through online applications (US citizen here)?

I'm sure this must sound stupid for many, but I never get any responses, until like 3 days later when I check my spam folder and realize my scheduled interview appointment came from some random server that got deleted as spam mail.

How the hell do people get jobs online? I've only ever landed a job in person.

Sadly, Athena toppled over on the moon. With a lunar eclipse coming shortly, why didn't they design in a secondary power source over solar?

Even if it landed correctly, why would they plan a solar powered mission to the moon when our next lunar eclipse is in like 5 days?

Casio fx-9750GII, banana measurement for scale

Yes it might not appear to align right, but that's only because the ruler is slightly above the calculator.

My calculator is exactly 178mm long, which is the definition of the length of one banana...

Casio fx-9750GII - Hello World Demo Update (March 1, 2025)

I added a few effects and stuff to my previous calculator demo, along with a signature line.

The weird symbol in the middle of the screen towards the end of the demo is literally Casio's text mode entry flashing cursor.

    Shame on Casio, they knew...

    Casio fx-9750GII Metric Grid

I couldn't find the exact pixel dimensions for this calculator, so I just measured it myself.

    1 Centimeter = 22 Pixels, exactly.

Edit: It might not appear in the photo to be an exact alignment with centimeters, but that's all because of the ruler sitting a little higher than the screen and the camera optical focus and crap.

    Indeed, it's exactly 22px/cm

Casio fx-9750GII trigonometry calculation error check...

Yes, 355÷113 is very close to π, but is not equal to π

So how does it get things 'right' for cos(355÷113), but not right for sin(355÷113)?

And why is the error of π-355÷113 exactly the same as the error of sin(355÷113)?

I sense some fuckiness of how they handle π...
