That glibc version might not be that old but they do this most likely because of security reasons. There will be a time when Valve will drop 32-bit support entirely as well. Also, you shouldn't use old distros because of the same reason. Currently glibc v2.31 is on Debian Bullseye which is the old-stable version and Valve still supports it. Technically there is no problem with that announcement.

You're welcome! To be fair, we couldn't even pass the diagnosing stage. However I'm glad it's fixed with an update.
My current motto is, I use whatever I want and install atomic on relatives' PCs and set auto-update. Atomic is great for non tech-savvy and I like to meddle around in the file system.
Hmm, xset
is not installed on Bazzite and it doesn't exist on homebrew and flathub either. Using Distrobox for this command is overkill but I don't see another way. So, can you install Debian on Distrobox (it might take a while) and then run that command? If xset still doesn't come pre-installed on Debian, you can install it via sudo apt install xset
(hopefully that's also the package name).
By the way, do function keys at least work as F-keys? For example, can you open file manager and select a file, then press F2. Does it open rename the file?
It's okay.
Can you see Fn Lock status with this command?
xset q | grep "Lock"
This command is usually useful for checking Caps Lock, Num Lock etc. but not sure if it would also check Fn Lock.
Also can you check if your laptop has a led light next to Fn Lock on ESC button? If so, is it lit?
Did you try Fn + Esc (assuming your Fn lock on Esc) to release the Fn lock?
If that doesn't work, maybe something changed in your BIOS setup related to Fn keys. It's most likely the first one though.
You probably have an Fn lock somewhere, perhaps on Esc?

And now you're late for work.
I have no idea how people can use LLM-generated code. In my experience they're absolutely terrible. However it can be good for giving some insights time to time.
Maybe he's just being German.
Oh, you will love this then:
I don't think you can do this without encryption that all 3 OSes can recognize, which will lead you to password protected zips.
Edit: Apparently there are some solutions.

Well, at least we know that was the case with pirates.
Yarr matey!
Actually, I never witnessed change-org ever changed something.
You don't find them, they find you.
I have a netbook from 2011 and I use it as Pi-hole and Jellyfin. You can add a backup system as well. Just go with headless Debian, you'll need every bit of CPU. Then you can just ssh into it and do everything like that.
I cannot see my own posts created on hidden communities
Hi!
Before opening a bug report, this seemed to be a better option.
Anyway, my instance (currently on version BE: 0.19.5) hid some communities so naturally they won't be seen even on searches unless one purposefully subscribed to them. While I'm fine with this decision, there is a problem here with my case:
I can subscribe to these communities as well as post to them. However, I cannot see my own posts to these communities when I visit my profile. If I visit my profile from another instance (that didn't hid these communities), I can see my posts like this. But not from my instance.
An admin suggested that this may be a bug. What do you think about this?

Do you know an open source TV app for Android TV so Google cannot push its shit?
I basically gave up on finding a custom ROM for this TV so I'm looking for alternative TV apps to at least change the default app. Do you know if there is an app like this exist? It should work with satellite, I'm not looking for IPTV or streaming services, just something that supports plain satellite TV.
Edit: Currently experimenting with KODI, no luck yet though. If you also have suggestions regarding to it, I'm all ears.
Edit 2: KODI (and so Jellyfin, Plex etc.) needs a backend server for Live TV so add-ons alone won't work. According to KODI Wiki, currently there are no backends that work on Android. I also tried Google's older app called Live Channels but Google doesn't let you to run it because it's old more useful.
Edit 3: I at least blocked all many of those ad streaming domains on pi-hole. Here is the regex I added to my blacklist. Maybe it will be useful for another poor soul who bought TCL TV.

Do you know a recent tablet that currently has a custom ROM available?
Hi!
My friend is looking for an Android tablet that has an unlockable bootloader and also has a custom ROM. I've checked a lot and every one of them is problematic. Usual brands here are Samsung, Lenovo, Huawei, Honor, TCL, Xiaomi. Apparently Huawei and Honor is out of question since they don't allow unlocking bootloader. TCL is new so no ROMs. Xiaomi seems possible but unlocking a Xiaomi device recently became even more pain.
Do you know a decent model from these brands? Preferably 10-12 inch screen.

was checking my old favourite posts and found this.

About an ending song
I'm currently re-watching Lucky Star and I'm kinda surprised that I know the majority of the ending songs (at least the karaoke ones). However kinda having a hard time with Shiarishi's songs.
Just finished episode 18 and I was almost positive that the song here was from Yanawaraba. Perhaps the melody is similar but not sure. It seems the song is called "Kaorin no Theme" and nothing beyond that apparently.
Do you have any idea about similarities like I had?

This was my favourite illegally smol post back on Reddit. Figured it would look nice here as well. ^^

How do you use your drawing tablet on Wayland with 2 monitor setup?
Hi!
I'm currently trying to use my Wacom tablet with 2 monitors on, however the tablet sees both monitor on the pad and the pen can travel to both monitors. I want to limit the tablet to only one monitor, both pad and pen.
I'm on river, so probably any wlroots solution would work.
This is my libinput output:

What cursors do you use on Wayland?
I like my Breeze-hacked cursor but I think it's time to find a native Wayland replacement.
I have some problems with X11 cursors and that's quite normal with Wayland obviously. For example, my cursor can become invisible if my screen sleeps. Additional controllers that control mouse cursor don't control X11 cursor, however they still work, I just don't know where the cursor is unless it highlights something. Things like this.
It's becoming kinda inconvenient so I'm asking for a replacement. Currently I don't really care how it looks.
I'm on River by the way.

Does anyone know how to monitor NVK driver?
Something like nvtop
perhaps?

Using Proton 8+ with GTX 1xxx series GPUs
There is a problem with GTX 1xxx cards (1660Ti in my case) running Proton 8+ for quite some time due to Nvidia driver, they're unusable. Because of this even Experimental and GE branches are useless for me.
To be fair, Proton 7 is mostly enough. However, I cannot play one of my games after its update and it's working fine with Proton 8 according to other people.
So, is there a workaround for this or I should wait for Nvidia's Vulkan updates?
