There's very few people on the internet who I trust enough to give them complete control of my browser. Randall is definitely one of them, probably the top one.
Spam away sir.
Yeah, that middle row works incredibly well on its own, but he needed to add some geek angle or it wouldn't be xkcd. :)
Oh shit, I hadn't seen that.
Why did Ferrari give Hamilton hard tires that close to the finish!?
I thought he would be driver of the day.
Phones bought in the US work in Europe and vice versa.
I create new emails on the fly with 33mail.com, using the website's domain as in lemmy@

Yeah, I guess it is.
Doesn't seem like he cares about the country at all, only himself.
Trump wants to leave a legacy???
It also has nothing to do with real web crawlers. Maybe the first crawlers when the web was a couple million pages were that dumb, but that's ancient history.
Must be years without launches.
Yeah, this is parody-level fake satire, as per the author's self-description.
I like explainers, so I want an explainer for the explainer.
No, really, I need an explainer for the explainer. I got lost mid way through...
No, he's right, LLMs match the definition of AI. Terms like AI and AGI are not made up by corporations, they have specific meanings in computer science.
That's not how it works though.
That's not just engineering but also product and support. But yes, each one of those tasks are already on their way to being possible today, and agentic planning and coordination could make it feasible in much less time than you think. Until we get AGI /ASI it'll need some human supervision, but not a lot more than that.
enough of the seniors have left and shit hits the fan
That was my first though also, but then I realized in that timespan the coding assistants will be able to replace the senior engineers as well. If not earlier.

Some images never load
Some posts that have images never load the image. I haven't found a pattern, maybe it's a yet-to-be-supported image format, I don't know.
Here's an example: https://lemmy.ml/post/2101250

No way to zoom into images in comments?
When a comment contains an image, there doesn't seem to be a way to select the image and zoom into it, tapping the image collapses the comment. I suggest the image should open when tapped, leaving the rest of the comment area for collapsing.
