β οΈ i have nsfw posts here on my profile. you've been warned π
just call me dog πΆ
male / linux enthusiast / border collie / fursuiter / gay / transmasc / 30's / u.s.
i hate using capital letters. sorry not sorry
so happy to see the instance back online. i've missed it. completely understandable that you're not able to expend the time to maintain it. it's a lot of work and effort and money D: thank you for all you do, @Wander@yiffit.net
i like it and it's shorter π ty π
bruh, for real, especially crt critics like ron desantis. their fuel for hate seems to have no bounds
wow, that's terrifying and gross π it would have been free for people not to do this
reddit and youtube really shouting out how much companies don't give two farts about its users. there's so much wholesome and educational content on youtube but, dogs forbid, youtube make $5 fewer in revenue than yesterday π i can't wait for grassroots decentralization of the internet, including video
windows and macos normies have one joke
it looks so strange~ watching this, i wanna know
called out
lmao i hate that it's not wrong xD
you're definitely right on most points. but, to your point, if a creator was on a federated instance of peertube then they don't have to worry about the wishy-washy, everchanging rules of youtube :3
oh look, another web service who wants to strangle its users for money and ad views :D when's a peertube instance going to get some big creators on it supported by viewers? that'll do it, i bet
can't respond to posts from mastodon :(
i guess i'm not able to reply to posts that originate from mastodon. it just spins forever :C just wanted to let y'all know that you might run into problems if the comment or post originates from mastodon.
i'll miss banging you two
the top for me would be art with andromorph characters :3 it's relatable, and thus hotter.
also, i love art that's both cute and hot, like romantic art and the like. lastly, anything with male characters or really masculine characters. i identify as ~98% gay so it just works for me lol
better here than on reddit, tbh. i have a feeling the lemmyverse will be way easier for trans people with its grassroots vibe π
loving it so far :D it's been more fun than reddit for me because this feels more like being part of something instead of just a big rss feed. that's what reddit felt like to me and with so many people there are already people who have said what i want to say 20 times over. i hope lemmy keeps the grassroots vibe π
wander i see your banner :3 how cool
nice π π
i picked up using my family's first computer pretty easily. then a year or so later we got dial-up, then a bit later i had salvaged a broken laptop from my dad's work. on that laptop i found agn.ph, which was (might still be? idk) a pokemon-centric image and story board. that led me to find art by zaush and gideon and some super pixely scanned copies of genus male magazine. i lurked the art and furaffinity alone for years and then finally actually tried to make friends in the fandom.
i mean, it depends on how they are hosting the instance, i guess. it would certainly take up storage space wherever they host the instance. you could always try to upload images somewhere else like imgur and then link it to help not take up their instance storage
is there a fediverse imgur?
for the longest time a lot of images posted to reddit were really posted on imgur (until they started hosting it on their own, too). is there a fediverse'd imgur we should be using to complement lemmy? its docs say it shouldn't be used for large images and videos.
pixelfed seems more like a federated flickr or instagram, not just simple image/album hosting like imgur. thoughts? ty π
"hot" as default?
wander, i think you're right and "hot" is a way better home feed choice. should it be set that way for new users? can it even?
