That looks really cool!
To me it looks look a low poly apple with an A (for Asahi) on it.
I love it!
The Retroid Flip 2 does not support Linux (updated)
I was looking for any news on whether the Flip 2 will support Linux in the way that the Retroid Pocket 5 and Mini do. I couldn't find any information on it. So I asked a Retroid employee and they said that it only supports Android.
Edit: the image was missing from the post, but is now added.
Edit 2: it seems that RETRONIX is running on the Flip 2 now. You can see it running in this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JqRCepSELbk
I found the last part of the video a bit reassuring. It explained how we are still in control, if only as a part of a larger system.
I really liked this video. It's been a while since I watched a video of theirs. Thank you for sharing! :D
So far I haven't seen any news on whether it'll run Linux or not. I'm personally very interested in one, if it does!
Edit: I asked customer support and they told me the flip 2 only supports android :(
Thank you for posting this! I originally was going to buy it for the Switch, but I'd much rather have it on Steam.
Now I just have wait a little bit longer...
I'm not sure if it's a grand strategy game, but Freeciv is similar to older Civ games.
That being said, Beyond All Reason (BAR) and Zero-k are Total Annihilation inspired and have a lot of work put in them. Definitely worth a try!
This reads like a chatgpt reply 😅
Maybe it changed when you last looked? I set up port forwarding on Linux while using Wireguard.
Does anyone have experience with viewing .mp4 files in Godot 4?

I would like to be able to view mp4 files in my Godot game, but I can't seem to get this extension to work properly. I hear sound, but I do not see the picture.
I have gotten the built-in video player to work and it seems to work quite well. The downside is that it only supports Ogg Theora, which is unfavorable for my use case.
Does anyone have experience with viewing (mp4) video files in Godot 4?
Edit: In case it matters, I run Godot 4.2.1 on linux.
I'm pretty sure they already do. The articles states China did not have to contribute before, as they were still a developing nation. Now they are in a position where they can pay, so they should, is what Wopke Hoekstra seems to be arguing.
