  • There's not much light available yet (and it was already getting dark outside), as i'm still renovating. I used a table lamp, which is not very bright, as my light source (hence the yellow/orange colors). This is also pretty much the first time i can use longer shutterspeeds because of a decent tripod. I'm very curious about finding out how this works for myself.

Thanks for your feedback! I'll give it a go. This along new opportunities really helps me out

  • Agreed, but the poll on the website shows more people vote for 'more blurr' too (tho 500+ votes don't say all). I really don't like were this is going...

  • Perhaps the 'add new apps to the homescreen' option is a little buggy? Like maybe the launcher thinks an updated app is a new app? Try turning that off.

I had the issue appear when sliding apps into folders straight out of the appdrawer. If i add it to the homescreen first and then drag it into a folder, the issue is gone.

    Hope any of this helps.

  • I've been sober for 5 years and a couple of months. It still can be difficult to not have thoughts about drinking. Came across this sub a couple of times and i just wanted to say that i really appreciate what you are doing here!

And to all who struggle: it gets better as time passes. You'll learn new ways to say no, and saying no will be easier as days/months/years go by. If you're fighting your thoughts or simple go through a rough time; talk to people (even if it's just on this place), work out, go outside, start that hobby you never got the energy/time/money for.

Being sober is not a punishment! And, getting professional help is not something to shy away from so always accept + take that if you need it.

Goodluck to you all! And feel free to ask me anything :)

  • I'm not sure Android 8.1, or your Blackberry, has this feature, but i did this once by setting audio to 'mono' and let everything go through the left speaker (which is the top one, in my case at least). Try searching for 'mono' in your settings and see if it's there.

Edit/note: i think this also applies to external audio devices, you might want to change it again when you use headphones etc.

  • "Parts of the phone reached a scorching 130° Fahrenheit, which is hot enough to burn your skin after about 30 seconds. During a few stress tests, the phone completely closed all apps and disabled functions like the LED flash to manage heat".

I know this is during benchmarks and the average consumer would not get anywhere near this, but still... 130°F (54,44°C)?!? I think 113°F (45°C) is already a little too warm to be comfortable...

  • The "Force Peak Refresh Rate" setting in Developers Settings is the only setting i can think of, helps smoothing other things out a bit for me too. I don't know if this actually increases the sensitivity, but i guess it's worth a shot.

I have the e/OS version of the FP6, so i don't know if the Google version has features added somewhere else.

  • I started noticing your pictures and art a little while ago. You make some pretty cool stuff!

  • For me using a VPN sometimes causes these kind of things. Otherwise, no idea

  • He froze when i approached. After a minute or so, he noticed that i would not come closer and was comfortable enough to look around curiously but it was still too afraid to move. That's when i thought it was the perfect moment to take some shots. Would've loved to stay a little longer for some different shots, but i didn't want to scare the little guy more than this.

    I have a Nikon Z30 btw.

  • I noticed it a little while ago! I'm happy they fixed it. Will update my post.

  • Google has to allow other app stores in Google Play Store in 2026, if Google likes it or not is not relevant.

And yes, the question remains if you can download from F-droid after installing through PlayStore, i agree with you there (because of the verification thing). It depents on what the court thinks 'sideloading' is, since we already know what Google think it means...

  • Well, if i can download a F-droid app via Playstore... then i'm basically not "sideloading" anything. This could be interesting!

But the whole (paid) 'verification' thing still is troubling tho. And we know Google; they are good at breaking things one way or another.

  • App and OS developers need to go hand in hand here, i believe. So, also support app(store) developers, because without them, any good deGoogled OS / Linux will still be worthless.I think the best way to invest for the long run is to start using any OS without any Google API on it (so, completely Google free, not even use spoofservices such as MicroG) and use alternatives for the stuff you use now. Then, when you find software you like, simply start donating / supporting them.

  • Honestly, i'm not sure. But it seems that (some) Sony phones supported that natively in the past, so it could be.I would check some Sony related communities if i were you. If i see something regarding this, i will let you know!

I got my FP6 with Murena! (setting everything up as we speak). AMA, and let me know if there are things i could try out for you!
