When they announced they would make their codebase proprietary it was definitely a turning point. In hindsight, you can clearly see a shift in their way of doing things from that point on.
I've been thinking about this for some time, embedding html in comments might be fun, but it doesn't sound safe. Especially in communities where doxing could lead to really bad outcomes for some users.

As far as I can tell, it happens when I open multiple links in new tabs (eg. when I go to the Communities page and try to open multiple communities in a row). Maybe an overly-aggressive anti-bot mechanism?
I've only got this error on this instance, though the only other instance I frequent is lemmy.ml. The only way I've found to temporarily get rid of it is to restart the browser. Any way I can fix this besides changing my browsing habits? :)
