  • Thanks once again kind stranger. You helped me not get angry at those bitches while also showing me the way to deal with mental problems.

Although I should have known better to give importance to a shitpost.

Why a user in one instance can't comment on another instance in lemmy? ( not a rant )

If we are able to see lemmy.ml posts in lemmy.world We should be able to make comments on the post.

Making a new post should be for registered members.

I think 'having to register and switching acc' is one of the reasons why people are not interacting as much as they could.

Would be nice if devs answered as well.

    Cheers.

Edit: you guys are right. I'm on liftoff and I can add an instance without having an account and browse it but when I have to make an comment it asks for account ; I thought liftoff is looking for the same post in another instance ( which may not have all the comments) But all it needed was an account.

Sorry guys I'm still wrapping my head around fediverse.

  • Game of thrones, feels like a kid whimsically thought about a classical story then killed the main characters. Everyone would normally think it's too immature for a story. Instead it became one of the most watched shows. Except the "killing off characters" thing ,the show was well made.

Can we create a new Internet ?

Now that Google , FB wants to trap us and control every aspect of the Internet browsing, Is it even possible to break free.

Or creating new Internet is a unrealistic idea ?

What would be FOSS equivalent for hardware ?

Just like we have software developed by the community, for the community. Can we have the same ideology applied to hardware ?
