  • I do want to stimulating the temperature. Also interesting theory, it would be cool to put it to the test. But I need some way to simulate a thermistor. Also, The testing rig I want to build could be a cool demonstration piece for how a thermostat works. I might donate it to some tech school when I'm done with it. Time will tell

  • It would be fun to torch a google device while laughing psychotically.

  • Yeah I want to simulate the temperature readings. No blow torches or extreme heat preferred.

  • Ask Electronics @discuss.tchncs.de

How would I make a HVAC simulator to see what a thermostat would do if the indoor temp was 425°F (frozen pizza cooking temps)

  • Thats one tasty looking cake (I mean KAKE!!!!!).

  • It was a bad battery. I didn't realize how old it is (it had a date from 2021). I got it replaced at autozone. I got a lot of places to be tomorrow.

  • The script is already written into a flake. Also I have been playing with a Kmscon for better font rendering and the ability to zoom in and out with Ctrl+ and ctrl- in the TTY Here is the flake (its only setup to compile for x86 as of now) https://git.ascosilinux.com/batvin321/CLI-typewriter-app

  • Thanks for the response. Yes I am using dialog as a TUI menu to launch wordgrinder and launch a web based file manager. I have done the sneaker net approach to transferring files over usb, it's less steps to select a menu option walk to my laptop and download the file from my webbrowser. I do agree that the screen is small. I have run the script on a corebooted chromebook. I should continue doing that. BTW the script is rewritten in nix and packaged into an appimage because I'm a sucker for pain.

Sorry if I missed anything. It is a lot to respond to.

  • Dam, my old antenna was powered over the coax. That's probly what did it.

  • Ask Electronics @discuss.tchncs.de

I think my 5g/LTE filter for my TV antenna is dead.

  • Cool, Thank you.

  • Thanks. Btw i found a DC auto transfer switch on amazon. https://a.co/d/a6pnd9B I assume i wire the car power to the "DC power source" so when it disappears it switches to "battery power" aka solar power. And the load terminal is wired to the DC in port on my bluetti

  • Good thing i asked the experts. Any i deas for a way to switch to solar power when i turn off the car? Like some form of diy relay switch

  • Ask Electronics @discuss.tchncs.de

will i damage my car electrical system with a 24v solar panel

  • True.

  • Its running off a 5v usb brick. I am trying to alluminate the way to the bathroom for my mom late at night so she won't trip or kick the household black cat. Also I ordered some PIR motion sensors to turn on the LED strip.

  • I have dusted off this project, after shelving it for a bit. I have decided to embed a m8 nuts into the TPU solar panel mount. I want to see if i can embed a ASA printed nut into the tpu print. It should hold up to the elements ontop of my car. I would buy this, https://a.co/d/9Zx6j4k i cant spare to buy it due to being a broke college student living in his parrents house, LOL.

  • i want to log my car's data over time.

  • What about using a 12v barrel jack with a 12v to 24v step up converter. If I remember properly, I think the ender3 v2 requires 24v to the main board. I might be wrong, it could be 12v.
