Maybe I'm being stupid, but how can I know which song relates to which instance?
I get this also. Have a look in your private messages. That's where I found my missing unread notifications
Not sure about the first edit. Will doing that reset all my viewing history on my server?
Citizens too? I've not heard of that. Scary

I didn't hear about this. What happened?
Looks like that might be changing https://www.gsma.com/newsroom/article/rcs-encryption-a-leap-towards-secure-and-interoperable-messaging/
I'll believe that when I see it
It really is a shame that it looks so terrible. It's a really solid office suite otherwise, but I agree that it's not a pleasure to use simply because of how ugly it is
I haven't written go in a little while, so things may have a changed since. I'll give this a go regardless.
First thing I notice is there's no explanation of what this is supposed to do. A little blurb in the readme would help. I have no idea what rbac is, so it would give me some context.
Then, there's no main function. Where's the entry point? This is a bit where I'm doubting myself now. Maybe go has changed, but when I was writing it, it requires a main function to even run.
I also notice that many of your functions and types start with a capital letter, making them public, but everything is in the same package. This is maybe nitpicky, but I would start with everything as private. As the project grows, and things get organised in packages, you open up the things you need.
With all that said, if it runs and does what you expect it to, I'd say that looks good!
Does Plex still offer plug ins?
Thank you for sharing the conversion chart. I don't know how much I can trust these, though. For normal cooking, sure. But for baking? I'd rather have a repeatable measurement.
Take for example the blueberries in that chart. 1 cup can range from 140 to 170. 30 grams can really fuck up your cake by either being too wet or too dry. If you give me a weight measurement, it doesnt matter what size my berries happen to be, the result will always be the same.
Couldnt agree more. Serious eats is still my go to, but the one they have is all volumetric, so I noped out.
Thanks for sharing the king Arthur website. Looks like they have nice things on there

Authentic tres leches cake recipe in metric
Are there any lemmings who can recommend a good tres leches recipe? I've never had one, so I don't really know what to look for.
I've had a look online and I've pretty much only been able to find recipes that have quantities in imperial measurements. For most things thats not a problem, but I have no idea how to covert solid metrics into volumetric and vice versa (eg. butter in TSP and flour in cups)
Closest I've been able to find is this one from a UK supermarket, but it looks as dense as a neutron star. My understanding is that these things are meant to be as moist as anything.
Can someone please share one that they've tried, liked and can vouch is authentic (also with metric measurements)
Just made a donation off the back of this. Thank you for posting
Like I said in my other reply, I cant see it in the article. Probably blocked by my ad blocker
Thank you for sharing. I opened the article, but couldn't see a video. Probably blocked by my ad blocker
Is there a video of this?
I'm also looking to migrate and was recommended this service when I asked a similar question to OP. https://www.migadu.com/index.html
Unlimited inboxes. You're just limited to inbox space, but you can have multiple domains.
I'll be moving over to them when my current subscription runs out with my current provider
How do you alias the last command? My aliases are all hard coded. I had no idea you could send a variable to an alias

Email hosting
Is anyone able to recommend any european email hosters?

SSH is the answer.
Another approach would be to use WSL (windows subsystem for linux) and basically just communicate from one Linus box to another

How do you get around the requirement to run the official app somewhere?
I run a WhatsApp and signal bridge, but not recommend running the official app on a phone

Does anyone know the history of this machine?

I saw this in a flee market and found it simultaneously horrifying and hilarious. I'm curious about how something like this might have come to be?

Can't access internet after wireguard uninstall
Hello,
I had a working wireguard peer on my laptop, which I didn't want anymore, so I decided to uninstall wireguard. All was well until I restarted the laptop and now I can't access the internet anymore.
I think it's because of some config left over from wireguard, but I'm not sure how to fix it.
Running pop os 22.04.
Any advice?

Distro recommendations and experiences
Hello,
I just purchased an AMD framework 13 and while I wait (im)patiently for it to arrive, I was wondering what Linux distros people here are using.
I've only ever use Ubuntu on desktop, but I think I'm ready to move away from it now, which I guess leaves fedora and mint as officially supported distros.
What have you tried? What are your experiences?

Places to look for second hand gear in the EU
I'm currently looking to replace my gaggia classic. I don't want to upgrade. I want to replace it, so I just went to eBay thinking I could take my pick of hundreds of machines, but I was surprised to find none at all.
Where else do home baristas sell their gear in the EU? I'd rather not import one from the UK or US

Music discovery
Since the Plex announcement that their integration with tidal is ending, I'm considering what my options are. I'm aware the the *arrs but is there anything that will recommend music?

Immich not reading GPS from image uploads
Basically the title. Using the android app to sync. The photos on my phone have GPS data, but it's not read by immich. I've tried rerunning the metadata job, but that hasnt worked. Am I doing something wrong?

Monitoring Borg backups
I'm curious what people are using to monitor their backups? I have Borg running on a cronjob, but checking logs periodically is getting tedious, so I'd like to automate that if possible

What are your thoughts on exposing a tool like dockge to outside of your man?
Dockge allows you to start/stop containers and edit your compose files from a handy ui.
Pros: if something goes wrong while you're away, it would give you a tool to restart a service or make some changes if necessary.
Cons: exposing that much control to the outside world (even behind a log in) can potentially be catastrophic for your stack if someone gets in.

Does anyone know if there are any plans for a web version of element x?
I use the desktop app frequently and it would be great to have a modern, fast(er) app

Immich android re-uploads files after docker restart
Hello,
I've noticed that when I restart my docker compose stack, the app seems to think that the server doesn't have copies of the latest files and re-uploads them.
The files can be seen in the filesystem of the host, but not through the web interface until they have been re-uploaded. The app uploads duplicates of all the files, at which point the web can see them again, and the fs has duplicates of everything.
This happens when I restart the stack, no upgrades to the system, just docker compose down
and docker compose up -d
My set up is using an unmodified compose file from the docs. Any ideas what I could be doing wrong?

Gaggia classic pump replacement
The pump on my 1999 classic just stopped working between coffees yesterday. I brewed one coffee fine, and when I tried doing a second, the pump wouldn't start. It still makes a click sound when the pump switch is pressed, so the solenoid still works. There's definitely power to the machine because the pid lights up. So I have a couple questions.
Firstly, is there anything I missed in my diagnosis? Maybe there's something obvious to look for when opening the machine...
Secondly, if the pump is broken, is it simple to replace with something like the one in the link? My particular model is quite old, so maybe they don't make compatible pumps anymore
