    Nah, I think it is called a football field as well. But very true. There are some leeway as to quality, dryness/wetness etc. And I guess the curve of spinning balls would also be effected by air pressure in our football, but it would hardly be a mechanic or something I ever heard anyone talk about.

    lol statues on the field is so ridiculous. Like why xD ? A huge sting ray aquarium is cool though! I hope they keep that feature in whatever they build next !

    And wow. Going to each ball park would be a crazy undertaking. I hope you manage to do it!

  • Exactly! And yes we have to.. but of course we don’t, because you know :p but it is very cool. It is not only fastballs though. I have a hard time explaining, but it mostly effect balls that try to work against gravity with its spin. Balls that curve horizontally is still effected of course, but less than vertical curves.

    It really demands good pitchers, because they have to be able to take into account the weird way the ball behaves at Coors, but also be able to pitch normally in away games.

    It really makes me sad, that the Rockies have such bad management, because they could really be a cool team. Like maybe not top tier, but at least decent and with fun games because of those weird mechanics of the high altitude. Which also would make it sad if the team just got moved.

  • Are you ready for the air pressure ? Spinning balls tend to have a lower drop in Coors than other places! But yeah, it’s gonna be a good series. Especially now that I have a connection to the opposing team as well!

  • lol, Rockies vs the United States seems unfair :P and so does the Sox playing a college team haha. But yay! It is gonna be fun watching it in the 28 olympics! I would love to see a Danish team competing! Getting absolutely recked sure, but still :P

    Copenhagen is a wonderful city. If you ever manage to visit I think you would enjoy :) and yeah it is getting a little sticky in the US right now. I really hope you manage to manage it without the whole crap collapsing.

    But yeah. So baseball haha. Escapism is cool huh? Is there any pre season games on ? I feel like a need to see s new game soon. Not something that is a rerun.

    I think if attendance numbers start to fall off a lot, then there might be a chance, but as it stands now there is still a somewhat large crowd attending games. Cut it in half and we might see change.

    Ah yes, the good part of New Jersey - where the Jersey Devil roams and creepy things hide in the woods. I wish I could visit for like a year. I have so many places I would love to visit in the US.

  • lol, that is some MLB witchcraft right there! Must be all that fake tan leaking out into the rivers, that settle in the mud and make it just perfect :P but why though ? Why make a ball that is not ready for use ?

    And yes, eat the rich, is all I can say. But as far as I can gather, there is also quite a lot of "Sell the team" signs at their games. But who knows, now that they have hit rock bottom there is possibility of building up something new. Or the owner maybe wants to take care of his investment - fat chance though. Read that he bought the team for 100 mil and right now it is valued around 1.2/1.3 bil. So he will never lose money on his investment.

    But yeah no, haha, I am not starting any leagues :P wouldn't mind swinging a bat at some balls though. Could be fun. And no, I am not in Copenhagen - used to live there though. And listen to this, we actually have several cities! Four of them even have more than 100k citizens! Most would probably just qualify as low density neighborhoods in the US though :P Are you from the US btw? I just assumed since you were.
