Trying to create a community
Help! I’m trying to create a new community on Lemmy.world and at the naming field I get the error to “Match the format” I can’t figure out what that should be can you assist? I’ve tried !communityname, !communityname@lemmyworld, (case sensitive) !communityname and am not sure where to go from here. Your help is much appreciated.

Hey there! I’m another Reddit refugee looking to make a new home here. After a couple of false starts (not with Lemmy) I finally looked at this site for ease of use. I’m hoping to bring over a few other Reddit refugees from my favourite subs in the near future and expect to be settling in quite soon. I’m also wanting to create a community for my special interest - just not sure how I’ll go about that at the moment since there’ll be a couple of decisions to be made. Now for a proper look around.
