A curious new statistic is being shared by Larian Studios regarding how many people in the Vatican city-state have bought Baldur's Gate 3.

Something tells me, you can't be trusted around the button :D
Thank you for the kind words! Yeah I would but this is IGN's Game Trailers channel and they don't put links, unfortunately, this is why I put it here in the top comment.
Guys and gals, today I'm happy to report that the game is finally done and will be RELEASING on APRIL 16 (in 3 weeks)! I made a special trailer to announced this and it was picked up by IGN's Game Trailers. You can wishlist the game on STEAM here. Do you like the trailer?

"Posting about a game on game related sub? HOW DARE YOU?"
Thank you :))
Thank you so much : )
Yeah, and also I'm close to release - maybe next month : )
Well, I post every few months when I have something new and interesting to show. This community in general has been very friendly and like being part of it.
The author is on BlueSky and thanked him and he responded. :)
After Years of Struggling To Be Noticed, My Indie Game Was Covered By VICE
For context : have no idea how they found about it, but I love that they are illuminating indie games. And VICE.com has 12 million monthly readers. This is insane for me , because for a long time I was struggling for the game to be noticed. (If you want to follow how development of the game is going, a simple wishlist on Steam will be well appreciated.
Thank you : ) I love the look too : )
DUCK YEAH, BROTHA
It looks better, can't argue with the community
Wow, Thank you! :) I'm gonna be honest - the first time I played Portal I totally missed the cube. I mean I did the room but didn't really register that it is different and I'm supposed to attach to it lol . I get it on further re-plays and I love how GladOS manipulates you with it.
Thank you! I love it too :)
Asked this wonderful community to help me chose the design of my game's duck, here are is the final result:
Original post here I asked this wonderful community to help me out and select neck tie or bow tie version. This little plush duckie in parts is inspired by The Companion Cube in Portal. The idea is that the player should steal it from The Narrator of my and form an emotional attachment to i. Do you like the new design? : )
Also if you want to support small indie devs like me and like narrative games like Title Pending and The Stanley Parable, please consider a wishlist for Do Not Press The Button (Or You'll Delete The Multiverse)
Thank you for participating in its development!
Help me out: which looks better for the Duck - the neck tie or the bow tie?
So I'm re-doing some of my Do Not Press The Button (Or You'll Delete The Multiverse) character models and I have this duck that is kind of inspired by the Companion Cube in Portal. I want to make it as appealing as possible so the players will attach to it and carry it around with them. Which looks better! I'm more partial to the neck tie (because I like wearing them) but what do you guys think?

Players Actually Sent Me 500 Word Essays For My Narrative Game (Full Story):
Hey today I wanted to show something amazing from the Stanley Parable-inspired game I'm developing. Might be a long read so bare with me: at the end of my demo The Narrator is annoyed that the player presses The Button (in a game called Do Not Press The Button)! So he demands the player to send a 500 word essay on why they shouldn't press it. I put this line in as a joke and didn't expect to get anything, but funnily enough I've gotten so much essays which you can see here in the video and I decided as an Easter Egg to put a secret room in the FULL GAME where people can actually read all of essays that was sent and I'm sure there are a lot of Lemmy people that have sent one. In the video you can see small example of what people have written! It's just awesome and makes me smile!
P.S. If you want to support my work and encourage development a simple wishlist of the game on [Steam ](https://store.steampowered.com/app/2336120/Do_Not_Press_The_Butt
Everyone talking about the Indiana Jones game lately, so I gave in and bought it. It's a 10/10 recommendation from me!
Buy it!
Gentlemen, it's with a great pleasure I inform you that Do Not Press The Button has hit 7000 wishlists

For context: I’ve been working on the game for almost 19 months now and for a very long time it had a low wishlist count. As I started updating the Steam page with new images and gifs and posting about it regularly the people who were interested in the game grew. Today I woke up to check on Steamworks and it turns out it’s 7000+ wishlist! (It was around 300 for the first YEAR of development).
But here is the thing, I’m not one of those guys who quits their job to pursue gamedev. You see posts like these all the time, I’m not even sure if most of them are even real, but I feel that is a HUGE risk. One I’m not willing to take, as I can’t afford to go two years without pay. A safer thing to do is to do gamedev on the side. But the amount of work you have to do is pretty much like having a second job. I think that if you treat it as
Larian revealed that Baldur's Gate 3 has sold 2 copies in the Vatican
A curious new statistic is being shared by Larian Studios regarding how many people in the Vatican city-state have bought Baldur's Gate 3.
After a recent update, Steam is no longer working on the Windows 7 and Windows 8 operating systems, and users will finally need to upgrade.
Woke up today to find out my demo has 100% Positive rating (from 10/10 reviews)
I know it's just 10 people but it's been a rough few months and I think it's a good idea to celebrate the small victories. : )

I made a horror game in 3 days to scare my Girlfriend. Here is a link to to my google drive if you want to try it
Google drive to the rar file: Google drive
Hey all, as you may know from my previous posts I make indie games and I decided to take a little break from my main project and spend 3 days to make a scary (but also kind of humorous) horror game for my girlfriend. It's called the Terrors of Adulthood and the theme is all the bs the we have to deal with as adults. I presented it to hereon Halloween and she kinda liked it (she's not really a gamer). So I decided it to post it here because this is my first venture into the horror genre and I'm not going to lie, it's kind of exciting. I might go all in on a horror game in the future. I kind of like small atmospheric stuff that slowly immerse you in their horrors. I would love some feedback from actual gamers Also I want to say the ending is from an inside joke that we have - I'm not making any statements about relationships, feminism, modern society or anything like tha
