I'm using Hyprland for a long time now and somehow I completely missed the global hotkey support. Thanks!
I would spend unstructured time with you
I love this. It's the most true sign of me being truly comfortable around someone else.
I would also research the shit out of any problem for people for which the above is true.
I see. Now that I think about this, it wasn't so nice for the first year afer breaking up with my ex. Still, I enjoyed it before and now I enjoy again.
Thanks for the explanation!
But I love this feature.
Is it universally hated or something like that? I had no idea.

Same as you but both for toenails and fingernails. Fabric catching on a rough edge of freshly cut nail is like the highest level of sensory nightmare for me. Because of this I spend so much time meticulously filing them and I just hate it.
This is the first post mentioning it I'm seeing. I literally just found out because of it.
I'm so with you. I don't think I know a single person who has seen Breaking Bad and didn't like it. Meanwhile I hated it.
One time someone gave me an edible which I later estimated to be somewhere around 200 - 300 mg. I've never done anything more than like 50 mg at this point. Boy, was it a bad night. I was sitting in a corner and I felt bad but I had no fucking idea wether I'm way too hot or very cold. Also, I felt like my heart was racing. The next day I checked records from my Garmin watch and sure enough, my heart rate at this moment was 160 even though I was sitting completely still. I read about stuff like this before so I knew what's happening and I did not panic but it was extremely uncomfortable.
Tasks.org is a powerful Android tasks app - the best I managed to find. I sync it with Nextcloud.
Kagi is so much better than any other search engine I used in years. In fact, it's too good because I don't see myself quitting it soon, even though I'd really prefer not using American services right now.
The ability to adjust preservation settings based on the tags is exactly what I wanted for a long time, I'm pumped. Thanks!
I wouldn't call my room barren but I hate random stuff lying around. I don't understand trinkets, souvenirs, collectibles exposed and collecting dust.
I don't know, maybe both are correct indeed. It's just that the post seems to be making a point that only one of the statements is true and I was wondering whether we actually know that.
Do we actually know which version is correct though?
I was referring specifically to "tab only GUI". I'm sure a proper keyboard only GUI can be great.
Haven't been updated at all??? That's very much not true. There's so much going on in terminal world. There are many flavours of modern terminal emulators, multiplexers, shells. There's a ton of sophisticated terminal oriented software like Neovim for example. Pretty much every single part of terminal environment has now feature-rich, performant and safer alternative implementations. The terminal and CLI world is thriving. Almost none of that massive cumulative effort is directed towards the mouse support. I really think it's just not what people want.
That's better than nothing, obviously, but I wouldn't call pressing tab repeatedly the epitome of good keyboard-driven UX.
This is really weird. I love working in the terminal precisely because I can do everything without using the mouse. I thought that's the point?
No hate though, I just don't get it.
Does anyone have experience with HÅG Capisco? I'm looking for something promoting more active sitting. I already have a standing desk which I love but standing for the entire day is too tiring for me and isn't the healthiest option anyway. I think Capisco would be good because it would allow me for some time of sitting but without going into the "shrimp" posture. Also, I think some models can be raised to act kinda like a hoker which would give me a third option in-between full sitting and standing.
It's extremely expensive but I guess not ruining my back is worth it. I'm kinda hesitant though because I don't have any option to try it in person and I'm not sure whether I would be able to return it.
I can vouch for this, Tasks.org is fantastic - very feature rich. I think I tried all FOSS tasks / todo apps and nothing comes close in my opinion. Most of them are very simplistic which is not a problem in itself but I need the features!
Algorithms are breaking how we think - Technology Connections

A slightly unusual video from the fantastic Technology Connections channel. It articulates a lot of my own thoughts on social media, "algorithms" and AI.
What surprised me the most was the statistic that only 3% of author's views come from the subscriptions feed. This is wild to me because subscriptions are pretty much the only way I have ever used YouTube.

Incredibly detailed and clear explanation of computer graphics. I highly recommend all videos from Branch Education - they're so good I can't believe they're free!
I see almost exclusively news in this community but no rules forbidding different content so I guess this is ok? It's undeniably related to technology.
Managing hyperfixations
Hi everyone! It's my first post here in an attempt to make this community a bit more active.
I've been recently diagnosed at 26 so it's all pretty new to me. However, I really appreciate the fact that now I have a new vocabulary to talk about the stuff I experience and communities like this which might be helpful in understanding myself better.
I'm a Software Engineer and I love everything related to programming / Linux / Computer Science. It's been quite literally the most important part of my life since I was like 15. Usually it's great but sometimes when I get a new idea I tend to hyperfixate pretty hard on it to the point where it becomes quite tiring. It could be an idea for a new project, a new technology to learn or to configure something in my Linux setup. Right now it's moving my entire computer setup to NixOS.
When I fixate on something like this I usually spend pretty much all of my free time on it. Moreover, my sleep usually is hurt as well because I often can't fall asl
