Beautiful babies
I'm on the side of AI here. A couple babies have their faces merged and it looks like a couple have third ears. Entirely possible it's real but just too low quality/overedited to make out the details. The end of mom's tail is also sus, but looks like it could just be dirty.
It doesn't sound like they're making more work for you. It sounds like you're making more work for yourself, and it sounds exhausting.
Ground News. I know it gets sponsored a BUNCH so it might be a turn off, but it really does what it sets out to do

The LDS church is big into genealogy and has a competitor called FamilySearch. No submitting DNA or anything, it's actual genealogical research. I believe it's free as well (could be wrong)

This was my first thought as well!
My go-to for hiccups is to empty then fill my lungs past where they're comfortable and hold as long as possible. It's not comfortable, but has been the best remedy. Peanut butter sounds like it would be good since it's slow to swallow
This is how I've learned to use Linux
You're so close to seeing the point. Yes indeed that the restaurant should be able to see if reservations are being changed around and be involved in those decisions, such as being able to restrict how they're transferred and charging fees to do so. Your first paragraph is what is needed and what the law is trying to get these third parties to do.
It's not illegal to book a reservation and then turn around and give that reservation to someone else (scheduling conflicts, medical emergencies, etc) with the other person paying you for it. To me it's a perfectly valid thing to do. The problem is that it's being commercialized and creating confusion for both customers and restaurants who no longer know who's booking their tables.
That's just what it looks like now
The problem, as pointed out in the first paragraph, is that these are third party apps operating without the restaurant's knowledge or consent. The proposed law would outlaw what these apps are doing if they do not have a contract with the restaurant. I'm all for it.
I've been loving it for my homelab (just a bunch of docker containers, but learning a lot!). Figured it would be the easiest for me to slide into for a desktop experience since my homelab is headless
Yeah, this is what I ended up doing. I'm surprised that the standard repository has such an old version! Completely removing that one and manually installing the latest version fixed my problems thankfully, minus a few visual glitches that weren't there in Windows (Not too surprising)
There's already an update?? I literally installed just a couple days ago, I'm surprised it didn't give me the latest driver
I'll take a look!

Troubleshooting Monster Hunter Wilds
Update with solution at the end
Hi all! If there's a better community for these questions I can post over there instead.
I'm not new to linux in general, but I am new to gaming on linux. I finally ditched Windows and installed Debian 12. I've got propriety Nvidia drivers installed, Steam's installed and I've only checked one other game so far (Palworld, working flawlessly).
Monster Hunter Wilds is just giving me a headache and I'm not quite sure how to troubleshoot it, whether it's something on my side (most likely) or something else. I can get the game to start using Proton Experimental (bleeding edge), it does it's graphics/shader thing, gets past the branding, and then freezes on the "Initializing Network" screen.
I've looked through through the ProtonDB and tried various launch options that were recommended, but still with no luck. I'm actually locked out for 24 hours because Denuvo sees switching Proton versions as trying to reinstall on multiple machines, so any potential

Klipper Bed Mesh Issues - Elegoo Neptune 3 Pro
Hi all! I've been scratching my head for a while now trying to get this figured out. I've got Klipper installed on my Elegoo Neptune 3 Pro, and I've never had perfect bed meshes. The back left is still too close, the back right is still too far.
The images show the difference between the corners (My Z-Offset was too close on this run so it's squishing too much all over, but the difference is still visible).
I recently installed kyleisah's Adaptive Meshing & Purging in hopes of this being a better solution, and I've put my tension up to 0.5, but have gotten marginal improvements. I've also attached my printer.cfg. The Bed Mesh values at the bottom can be ignored, since the adaptive meshing gets a new mesh every print.

Incorrect permissions on my .arr stack
Hello fellow self-hosters,
I'm fairly new to hosting my own services and have been learning as I go, but have run into an issue and am not sure where to look for answers. Hoping you all can help a confused soul out.
Up until now, I've been running the .arr services (Sonarr, Radarr, Overseerr, etc.) on my Windows machine with minimal issue, but I've been working on setting up a separate Debian machine to get it off my main PC.
I'm following this guide to get everything setup, and at this point I have all my services setup and running, but I can't seem to get Radarr and Sonarr to work correctly. My indexers work, Radarr will grab the wanted file and Deluge will download it, but when the download finishes it just stays in limbo; Radarr is unable to import it into the library due to invalid permissions (It doesn't have Write permissions).
I've done sudo chown -R $USER:$USER /path/to/ROOT/directory
and `sudo chown -R $USER:$USER /path/t
Gift Ideas
My wife's birthday is coming up and she is HUGE into the Sonic franchise, but doesn't have much in the way of collectibles or memorabilia.
What would a Sonic fan who's played the games, read the comics, knows the lore, etc. LOVE to get as a gift? I'm thinking rare collectible type stuff. Likely something I'll need to get off eBay.

Is this a vertebra?

Anyone have any solutions for this issue? You'd think it would just bridge over the entire hole, don't know why it's doing this. We're at 195mm height here and I'd rather not run a support the entire height of the model just for this little nub.
Using version 2.6.1

Neptune 2S extruder upgrade problems
Hello fellow printers!
I've decided to be ambitious and upgrade my printer's hotend. I followed this guide to convert my printer to a direct drive. I bought this NEMA14 motor per the instructions, but the instructions didn't specify how to wire it up to the stock Neptune 2S board. I just swapped it where the old extruder was and got everything assembled.
Started trying to tune it (Using Klipper), and things just got weird. I read that the motors can heat up while active, but this motor is getting HOT! Hot enough that it can melt PLA that's pressed up to the motor's body. Only takes a few minutes to get there, definitely can't print for long with it.
What are my next troubleshooting steps? I definitely don't want to burn my house down and will go back to my original bowden setu

App crashes when opened with the latest update
Updated to the latest update and the app crashes immediately. Can't get to any settings, no errors are thrown. I've had to downgrade to v23.08.31.
Anyone else having problems? I can post my device info if someone could tell me how to get that.
Edit: Device info added. Also, I do have an Ultra subscription but can't restore the purchase. That's probably since I downloaded the earlier version from APKPure.

I suppose this is why my hotend fan stopped working...

Took a couple failed prints to figure out something was wrong. Pulled the filament and saw it was melted WAY too high! Thankfully I've got a pack of spares, so pretty simple to swap out.
