I have a Bluesky account where I post art: @9whiteteeth.bsky.social
Or on Pixelfed: https://pixelfed.social/Monstrosity
I think that just means 1/2 of the walk in closet.
Hey everyone! Make sure you check out my Pixelfed account where I post weird ass shit that no one likes because I got burnt out & disappointed as a young artist!
dpkg -i <nameofpackage.deb>
Which can be read as: (Debpackage) -install <nameofpackage.deb>
That's it!
Also, if you haven't already, install tldr (apt install tldr), then you can 'tldr deb' (or any other command) to get a few examples of their most used functions.
I know! All those down votes are really going to tank my Social Credit Score :(
I can finally game like a 2014 phone owner!
I tried a snap package on my pop-os system once & it poo'ed folders all over my system, then didn't actually uninstall when I uninstalled it.
No thank you.
Most update themselves & flatpaks are the worst when you need them to work with your system (ie: scripts).
So I guess your opinion is just wrong, sorry! (That's a joke you guys)
Change ~/Apps to ~/bin or ~/.bin & you are doing it like a seasoned pro.
Completely ideal, actually.
So, vibes?
You're totally right. I suppose I am thinking of things like chicken't nuggets or Beyond Beef. Things that would be considered junk food anyways.
There are other open source browsers/engines.
Aside from that, Imo, it's not cheap to do what Mozilla is doing, but 1/2 billion annually is probably more than enough.
I believe thar be grifting in them waters.
Oh, I guess I was assuming the vast majority of these folks (I'm one of them actually) are using credit cards, so the loaners don't really know ahead of time.
I'm not convinced it requires 1/2 a billion dollars to keep Mozilla running. I think Mozilla is mismanaged, wasteful, easily distracted by unrelated projects, & bogged down with 'bullshit jobs.'
I've yet to see convincing evidence to the contrary short of folks simply telling me 'developing browsers is insanely expensive!'
As a vegetarian, I sometimes eat a lot of meat substitutes that are highly processed.
I figure it's a worthwhile trade.
As a long time Linux user, I can relate 100%
Are you a Bazzite dev?
It's okay, I promise we still like Bazzite. We're just haha-ing over here, nothing personal.
Lemmy isn't much better!?
Whatever you say, man.
Doodles the left page were done with brush pen while the right was done with a paintbrush & ink (my preferred).
I'm honestly not sure I can tell the difference :/

Brush & ink on bristol board
Bored somewhere I can't leave, so uploading a sketch I happen to have on my phone camera while I wait.
Brush & India ink on vellum bristol
I'm not sure if this piece is finished, but I'm done with it, if that makes sense.
About 9.5" x 9.5"
Brushpen comparison
Experimenting with different pens in a sketchbook, I thought it might be interesting to try this contrast. The page on the right was done with the fattest pen from this brand line while the left was done with the thinnest.
If this sub isn't really for sketchbook work, my bad, please just let me know .

Brush used on illustration for scale.
Hope you enjoy!
Scratch art (2.5x2.75")
I found the tool I use for scratchboard/paper, so here it is. It looks like a pen, but is actually a flexible little blade.
I hope you enjoy!
Scratchboard appx 3x3"
Scratchboard sketch (scratchpaper? That's kind of something else. Anyways).
The tool I use looks sort of like a calligraphy pen, but is a flexible blade. I seem to have misplaced it, so, that's annoying. I'll try to include a picture next time.
I hope you enjoy.
Ink on bristol
I'm realizing folks like to see the tools people use when they draw so I included that this time. It's a brush that's too small tbh (a friggin' size 4/0) but it's nice & I got it for extremely cheap.
Hope you're having a swell day!
Thin Scratchboard/paper (3 x 3.5")
This is done on paper that mimics scratch board, but is waaaaaaaay cheaper. Somewhat hard to find without rainbow colors underneath, unfortunately.

Hey, non-representational today. Hope you like it!
I've been post my experimental illustrations over on Pixelfed (@monstrosity@pixelfed.social) and would like to cross post here, too.
If it gets annoying, mods let me know. Otherwise, I hope you like it!
