  • Haha, I found the name brilliant :D

The google crap is from a youtube iframe found in the frontpage that displays trailers in the background for the showcased movies. So far I haven’t found any other way to play YouTube videos inline unfortunately.

  • Yep, for now. I'm looking to implementing plex integration in the future, but right now I'm unsure if it is possible to play content from plex via their API. So whether or not jellyfin is a hard requirement for playback remains to be seen

Reiverr: A clean UI for Jellyfin, TMDB, Sonarr and Radarr, as well as a replacement to Overseerr

    Hey ya all,

Reiverr is a project of mine that I’ve decided to release to the public today. It’s a self-hosted website similar to the content discovery app Overseerr, with the added features of managing and watching your content library through Sonarr, Radarr and Jellyfin integrations. The motivation behind the project was the lack of a unified modern UI that could be used to discover, manage and watch content in a single place.

Currently, the project is in very early stages of development, but it is mostly usable in its current state. If you want to try it out, you can find the installation instructions in the project’s GitHub page:

Also: For the project to reach its fullest potential, it could use contributions! If you’d like to contribute code, designs (I’m not a UI designer, please help me), docu

Lemmy instance that works as a reddit mirror

Hi, I hope this is an appropriate place to post this question. I was wondering if there was a lemmy instance that would mirror some subreddits and their posts? I was thinking that one way it could work is essentially all posts that meet certain criteria would also be scraped by a bot and posted in the lemmy instance. If this is a new idea, what would it take to setup such instance?

I'm working on a Jellyfin client concept that could be used to stream, discover, download and manage your local movie library, with a sleek user interface. The idea is to combine the functionality of radarr, sonarr, jellyfin and overseerr into one modern application. What do you guys think, would you use something like this? What features would you find useful? I'm trying to decide if this is worth the time commitment :)

    Cheers
