  • That sounds very much like what unions do in Australia, kind of.

Workers negotiate pay as a collective.

  • Yeah best advice I have is take it slow and if you're hurting have a break.

A break today is better then a breakdown tomorrow

  • I do what I call Long run Sunday funday.

During the week I do short runs, 2.4 to 3k each day or so, but then on Sunday I push put to 5k

I've done this for years on and off due to an injury.

At one point long run Sunday funday was a 10k run while regular runs were 5k.

I found that just doing one longer session a week allowed me to stretch it all out over time.

  • Right, I go months without updating my phone because they keep changing shit..

I liked it how it was when it was a S7 it peaked nothing new since has been good.

Except file share stuff cause it's faster then Bluetooth

  • I came here to post this but you beat me to it

  • This is great for Australians if wr can keep the current labor government in power.

They're facilitating the Future Made in Australia initiative.

"The Australian Government committed $22.7 billion over the next decade to build a Future Made in Australia.

The Future Made in Australia agenda aims to:

maximise opportunities as we move towards net zero secure Australia’s place in a changing global environment"

Unfortunately we have a habit of believing the lies told by the opposition party that everything is shit now because of the people in power and if we elect the other party they will fix it. And so on and so on causing a changing leadership every four years.

Further more the Liberal party are very pro trump to the point the leader of the opposition party Peter Dutton said the following "Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has said Donald Trump is a "big thinker and a deal maker" with a "genuine desire to see peace and stability" in the Middle East."

Along with our billionair oligarks like Gina Reighnhart who pay for the Liberal NationParty From her website "Peter Dutton could model himself on Donald Trump in a bid to woo disenchanted voters, who are tipped to lurch to the right at the next election in search of action on the cost-of-living and housing crises, experts say." https://www.ginarinehart.com.au/australias-trump-the-push-for-peter-dutton-to-embrace-donald-trumps-campaign-style/

TLD labour stays in the government provide billions in funding to build green energy in Australia and America moving away from it leaves us as a leading power in renewable.

  • Samsung have a setting to set the charger to only charge to a certain amount over night

So if you plug it in at 1800 at 0230 or whatever it won't be charging until just it calculates that it will be full charged when you wake up

  • Its just trickle down economics.

Billionair has millions of children they all get to br millionairs too who marry others and spread the wealth

  • Yeah that's kind of what I figure given how well the invasion went

  • I would like to know, how many of the men in this picture (including inside the tanks) went on to survive the war

  • I'm assuming that's CGP Grey?

I could click the link but I'm sitting on the toilet and don't want a video to start haha

  • Yeah that's one thing I miss about the game, not having destructible environments. I understand why though the matches go for an hour and a half fighting back and forth there would be nothing left on the map

  • Hell Let Lose is a WW2 simulator game,

You can play it like cod and run around but all that gets you is killed by some guy who's creeping a corner or whatever.

It's best played slow and tactically following orders from your squad leader who gets orders from the match commander.

One or two bullets will kill you and half the time if you're not being careful you won't know what happened to you.

Then the slow pace is suddenly juxtaposed by a fierce fire fight defending your location while tanks shell you and artillery rains down.

  • Shame, men's sa should be treated the same not as a joke

  • Sexualising assault is only ok on men? Got it.

a 2000s webcomic with a character who I'm sure used to eat Cadbury creme eggs and drink redbull.

I used to read this all the time along with XKCD.

Obviously I can remember XKCD but this other webcomic I can't find anything about it

Part of me thinks maybe it was Ctr Alt Dlt but I can't find anything refencing the egg etc. So I don't think that's it

The nicest course I've ever played "The Coast"

This was The Coast in New South Wales of Australia.

Was on a holiday with my brother and got in a round of golf. Coming from the tropical part of Australia where it rains for 2 months then is dry all year this place was amazing.

Now I understand why they call them greens and not patchy dirts.

There's a course up where I'm from with black rubber type ground for the green cause it's so shit to get anything that nice.

Dark mode is awesome, but unfortunately everyone on the internet are heathens and browse in light mode and take screen shots etc.

So dark mode on connect tends to just be bright white-space.

It would be great if there was a way to invert their colours too

    business question about Australia Tax

My question is around pty Ltd taxation. Small businesses pay tax at 25 percent or so right.

So is this tax paid on the gross income or am I correct in assuming is paid on the gross profit?

    Example

Company bills labour out at 100 an hour for 40 hours

This equates to 4000 dollars gross profit.

Is tax paid at this point paying 1000 dollars in tax.

Or do you then subtract say 50 dollars an hour of wages for 40 hours resulting I'm a net profit of 2000 then pay tax on 2000 dollars left in the companies account of 500 dollars tax?

Then the employee pays their share of tax on the 2000 dollars the company paid to them?

Secondly, if the company pays super on the hours worked, do they pay tax after super is deducted or before super is deducted from profits?

Sorry if this is confusing I'm very confused to begin with.

I Want to talk to an accountant but this time of year isn't the best for that, so I'm just trying to get some understanding before I go in and talk to one in the new y
