issues with hotspots on verizon
of course, on stock android with gms, verizon hotspot does not work at all (says to purchase it and blocks you)
on calyx it used to work fine and i would get around their throttling using powertunnel (a tool that obfuscates traffic)
recently i have had issues though:
- hotspots have no internet access
- using powertunnel also causes me to have no internet access
another thing is i have noticed some other blockings:
- orbot is no longer working for me
- riseupvpn is no longer working for me
- all ooni probe tests fail
do not run wubuntu
mine has it from the navbar
yes! i love heliboard, its also alot better than florisboard that i used to use
you can use iwctl
example:
list interfaces (usually wlan0)
$ ip link
enter iwctl:
$ iwctl
rescan:
$
<iwctl>
station [interface] scanconnect:
$
<iwctl>
station [interface] connect [ssid]list networks:
$
<iwctl>
station [interface] get-networksexit:
$
<iwctl>
exiti can do it on about 15 minutes without the wiki for a fairly basic install
and then about 30 minutes to set up sway how i want, install common software i like, etc
but for a more complex setup it will take longer and i will need to check the wiki
don't they have issues with randomly getting stuck in edl?
I tried florisboard but their swipe typing isn't as good as heliboard

How do I install the Linux
My grandson recommended me to try Linux, but I cannot find where to download it. Many people tell me to use something called "Arch" but when I click the md5 file I only see a bunch of numbers. I found a download zip on kernel.org, but when I make the usb, it says not bootable
