1. This highlights one of India’s biggest enemies - systemic corruption, second only to terrorism. Despite paying crores in taxes for infrastructure, property, services, roads, and utilities, many Tier 1 cities, including Pune, are becoming unlivable. I love Pune, Maharashtra, and India - but witnessing this breaks my heart and enrages me. Accountability, planning, and transparency are essential if we truly want to rise in GDP and the Happiness Index.
2. No doubt EVs are the future, even though I personally prefer ICE vehicles. But before promoting them aggressively, fix the infrastructure for all road users. We’ve seen EVs perform well during floods across the world, but this is no way to arm-twist the public into buying EVs - especially after aggressively pushing SUVs. Now there’s a new sales pitch.
People should switch by choice, not because of manufactured problems.
3. I have immense respect for the delivery partners I saw braving floodwaters- just to ensure their families could eat that day. While you and I could afford to wait it out, they don’t have that luxury - not with tight timelines and mounting pressure. It’s a tragedy that the administration and politicians have abandoned them. They deserve so much better.
4. Many small countries and cities - like Singapore, where it rains heavily - never flood. Send your teams to learn proper urban planning. And if you can’t, let us know - we’ll do it for you.
5. The financial losses due to standstill traffic, vehicle damage, and property loss flushes all progress down the drain - literally, into a water park.
I truly hope the powers that be wake up and engage in serious, sustained work for the welfare of the taxpaying citizens - and all other earthlings of this country.

What is Cyberpunk?
Cyberpunk is a science-fiction sub-genre dealing with the integration of society and technology in dystopian settings. Often referred to as “low-life and high tech,” Cyberpunk stories deal with outsiders (punks) who fight against the oppressors in society (usually mega corporations that control everything) via technological means (cyber). If the punks aren’t actively fighting against a megacorp, they’re still dealing with living in a world completely dependent on high technology.
Cyberpunk characteristics include:
- Dystopian city setting where mega-corporations rule
- Full integration of technology into society, featuring cybernetic implants
- Outsider protagonists (punks) who often are very familiar with the technology around them
- Hard boiled detective and film noir vibes and influence
- Themes dabbling in trans-humanism, existentialism, and what it means to be human.

Brainstorming ideas for a generic puzzle, riddle, illusion community
I remember seeing at least one other community related to this, which had regular math problems.
What I'm thinking is having a general community for any of the following:
- joke style riddles
- more complex riddles (ex. missing dollar riddle)
- math problems (geometry, infinite doors, monty hall)
- optical illusions
- those physics 'what would happen' questions (ex. which bucket would fill first, which way would the balloon move)
Keeping it open would allow for more content, and it will also keep things fresh, since having the same type of question every day might get boring for users.
What should the community be called? Some ideas so far:
riddler: might be too specific to the character, or the concept or riddles???: I thought this was fun, but it might cause issues with other fediverse platformswhat: Not as fun, but solves the issue above
