“Enough with woke environmentalism,” Elon Musk announces the petrol-powered Tesla

Earth (Planet fairly close to Mars) – Elon Musk likes a few things: putting an X in the names of things he buys from others, electric cars, and publicly humiliating himself with embarrassing behavior. Then there are some things Elon Musk hates: his children, happy people, and woke.

Just last night, Elon Musk made headlines again by announcing Tesla’s latest revolution: ToXXXic, a 5-ton SUV powered exclusively by premium gasoline, “because I’m sick of all this gender fluid electricity.”

“Woke environmentalism is out of control,” Musk said as he lit a barbecue with a solar panel used as charcoal. “People want to hear the sound of pistons again, the smell of gasoline, and the adrenaline rush of knowing that with a tank of gas you are warming the planet a little. It’s romantic! Plus, we all know that electricity turns children into transsexuals.”

The new model promises to travel 6 kilometers per liter , as long as the driver is light-footed and lives downhill. Musk also announced that t

So you want to join the fediverse?

I have a draft designed for all types of fediverse software, but i narrowed it down to just threadiverse stuff

This is a guide meant to be linked for beginners, to explain the fediverse in as short time as possible.

Concepts

What's "federation"?

In easy terms; it's a concept where instances seamlessly integrate with each other. Users can talk to each other and participate in their communities. For example, my account is on lemm.ee and the community i am posting to is on slrpnk.net, yet i feel no friction.

What's an instance?

An instance is a server running software, with users, and communities, etc. (Each of these is like a mini-reddit/twitter/etc!) The software part is important, since instances can either be forums, microblogs, video-sharing sites, etc etc. And they can all interact with each other!

What's the "fediverse"?

The fediverse (federation + universe) is a coalition of federated instances running all types of different software, so a user from a forum instan

Stop Cop City could take notes from those fighting against fascist italy

in fascist italy, opponents of capital and the state lit up police cars used by train cops. from the communicae (italian, english):

Si è scelto di attaccare con il fuoco la polizia ferroviaria, misera appendice della polizia di stato, addetta all’infame compito della salvaguardia della sicurezza in ambito ferroviario. Il loro ruolo di guardiani dei cosiddetti confini di stato ha rappresentato un motivo in più per fargli visita proprio sotto casa loro. Infatti il costante monitoraggio che la polfer agisce su “presunte” persone senza documenti rappresenta un serio ostacolo per chi vuole muoversi liberamente.

RSFSR Constitution (1918): English translations vs. original text and other translations

Hi all! :hugging face:
It has been a while I am interested in the relationship of migration and international socialist/communist movements.

A bunch of comrades bumped into the 1918 Constitution of the RSFSR for a non-professional translation of an op-ed. In particular, we have focussed on articles 20 and 22.
Surprisingly, we found that the English translations MIA [0] and The Nation provide are missing some content.
