Some Sketches That I Cherry-Picked
Been a long time since I posted. All of these were drawn before the Sally Face one, and the adventure time redraws. I just didn't feel they were enough on their own.
These were done while listening to music, and some of the palettes come from album cover art. Like the the purple one with the painting, comes from Electric Wizard's "Come My Fanatics...", I didn't listen to the whole album, just "Solarian 13".
Hey one of them comes animated!
Still can't figure out how to make pixelart look good when scaled :( My only fix for this is opening the image in a new tab.

A few more logos I drew earlier
These were made soon after I learnt about Blåmba, a Blåhaj-themed provider of content for retro phones running on GSM networks at Chaos Computer Club's events since 2023. There was a dire lack of Blåhaj among these 72x14 1bpp pictures ("operator logos") you can use on the home screen instead of the name of your phone carrier.
This is a follow-up to the previous post (follow link for more details) although I drew these about a month earlier.
Tech-Related "Operator Logos"
Nokia allowed people to receive 72x14, 1bpp pictures over a series of binary- or hex-encoded SMS messages, and have them show up instead of their carrier name on the home screen. In the 2000s, magazine ads and webpages would distribute them using premium-SMS.
This service, also featuring ringtones, games etc. has been revived, free of charge, by MtF hacker @[email protected] of the Chaos Computer Club. You can go to Blåmba.de and download all kinds of content into your retro phone.
The service has been discussed in detail at her 38C3 talk: [media.ccc.de](https://
Sally Face
At least from what I can remember. It was a loose sketch, that turned into something else.
Adventure Time Redraws
2 years ago, back in the ye old days of ricing my dwm setup. I needed some Adventure Time icons, and so I did a bit of pixelart using GIMP. Suffice to say that since then there has been an improvement. Not only are the new ones more stylized and less noisy (Sorry old Finn), but they are more readable. I am not proud of robo cube jake though, but it's fine really.

Saultoons And Various Sprites, like 32 of them
Size: 16x16. Number of sprites: 32.
This took about 5 hours, I worked on it, eeh, roughly for 3 days. I decided to not edit the old ones, so I can see improvement in the last ones, I also planned to do more, but I lost interest :(
Also you can see how I copied and pasted the first one, did some minor editing, some characters really broke the format though.
Can you guess them all? I sometimes can't. Anyway the characters in order from left to right: Inhales
a good book summons magic into your world
She lives forever there in the text, but she can visit you for a time.
Burn Me To The Ground
A 128x128 piece. Every time I create a big piece I crank up the bush size and can't seem t focus on small details :(
Overall I think It's pretty neat, the fire that is, not so much about the character.
The title and the piece are inspired by the song Operation Pyrite from Arknights.
Jinx from Arcane
Feedback is welcome!
I tried doing that small sprite size thingy, where you have to choose ONE feature and let it consume the entire sprite, in my case it was her hair as I tend to see many artists do the same thing.
I got really confused on her outfit though, and you can see that the sprite readability isn't that great.
Overall it was a fun experience.
EDIT: The sprite was edited after receiving some feedback on Discord. Here's the old one, the new one, and the reference side by side:
