From next level miniatures. Really wanted to mess with the blending/highlights on the cape. Toothpicks in pics are for size reference, friends and family don't understand the size of these.
Started with a soldier that was included with a Tamiya tank, no decent brushes but I enjoyed it. 2nd was a death knight from nextlevel, not bad. A friend 3d printed this at 48mm. Much can be improved but I'm happy with the progress.
My first ever Black Templar is done! It was a lot of fun to paint. I wanted to do a kind of old, weather beaten look with a leather cowl and stuff as well as some extra little bits an pieces. I didn't have any transfer sheets so I just freehanded a roughed up mark on his pauldron.
Constructive criticism would be awesome! This is my third space marine so far and I think I'm learning a lot each time.!
Here's one I painted for a friend, flail snails are one of their favorite DnD monsters. Lot of firsts on this one: Using UHU glue for slime effects, smooth color transition (red/yellow eye stalks), played with some red/blue duo pigment for the shell, and I'd never made a desert base before. I'm pretty happy with the results!
The other day I posted some goblins I made and painted, this weekend I painted the guards that I made for my upcoming campaign. The painting is getting a lot better and I am very proud of these ones.
I've painted a couple of figures over the past year or two but this is my first army having tried to get into it a lot more these past few weeks.
I did them all one by one going one colour at a time. Printed on my 3d printer, comments and suggestions are very welcome. I would love to get a lot better!
Hi all, I’m currently the only mod here and I’ve sadly had to be less active given sizable real life responsibilities. So posting here to see if anyone is up for assisting in mod management? It's still pretty small right now but it's good to get ahead on these early I feel.
If anyone’s interested just comment below and I can get things approved from there, Preferably say any experience you have if applicable.
I am getting back into mini painting after being away for 25 years.
I bought a Gundam and an Armada ship from Mantic the other day so I can sort of figure out what I like to paint now. Years ago I was all over Epic 40k, and BattleFleet Gothic.
I was looking at base coating, and noticed that the GW spray paints are 25$ a piece.... which is flipping insane! Sadly it was all the store had.
I printed and painting this Roper and the rocks for DnD night with my buds.
I was inspired by Conkers Bad Fur Day for the color scheme of the Roper.
Image Description: Pictured is a group of 4 printed and painted cone shaped rocks with a cone shaped creature in the middle that's brown with one red eye and yellow teeth. The color scheme is inspired by a boss called the Great and Mighty Poo (a giant pile of poop) from Conkers Bad Fur Day.
I 3D printed these minis a little while ago but only just recently found time to paint them.
I should be able to get to my pile of shame (unpainted minis and unassembled model kits) soon with my schedule changes.
Image description: 5 3D printed painted skeleton miniatures with red cloaks, standing on grey rocky bases, and holding various weapons including a bow, a halberd, a mace, a spear, and a sword.
Agatha is a character fory Forbidden Psalm campaign. She's a 28mm scaled digital kitbash made from a couple of Vae Victis parts and a backpack from a Thingiverse/Cults3D model (can't remember which).
