Is it possible to copy the blockchain cache data from a view-only wallet to its spend wallet (on another machine)?

Setup

I use two wallets:

1. a hot wallet, and
2. a cold wallet

The hot wallet lives on my daily driver computer, and it only has enough XMR in it to cover daily transactions.

The cold wallet has the majority of my coins, and it lives on a hardened machine. It has Internet, but I only ever use this dedicated machine for crypto transactions. It basically just runs electrum and feather.

I only open my cold wallet a few times per year, whenever the hot wallet needs a top-up.

Problem

This process works great for electrum, which only needs a few minutes (at most) to sync.

This process isn't great for monero. I have to sit for hours waiting for feather to sync. And I'm physically tied to the computer with a BusKill cable.

Solution

What I want to do is reduce the feather wallet's sync time by first doing the sync in the reduced-security environment with the vie

I cannot access the I2P site on the http://rwzulgcql2y3n6os2jhmhg6un2m33rylazfnzhf56likav47aylq.b32.i2p/ address, either in the web browser but also for news and price synchronization in the wallet. Is this on my side or a serverside issue? In the browser, the I2P router always just responds "Website Unreachable", because its lease set was not found.

Feather wallet Monero synchronization (that happens after startign the Feather wallet) which is not done over Tor is enough anonymous?

While using Monero GUI wallet, I have been suggested to try Feather wallet instead. So this is what worked to reuse my existing Monero GUI wallet inside Feather app without loosing data and without need of a long synchronization.

I have tried to set I2P port (used by other I2P client app):

On Monero GUI wallet connected over Tor proxy, it takes even tens of minutes if I launch Monero after a few weeks of inactivity. What is your Feather Wallet experience regarding this?

If so what is the minimum XMR to get started? If not, how come?

Microsoft Defender did not give me any "Threats Found" for the previous 2.6.3 standalone version.

What change in 2.6.4 is getting flagged?

With the recent spike in activity on the chain transactions with default fee are being delayed.

Is there a way to set the tx fee manually? Is the wallet capable of selecting an appropriate fee automatically?

*Edit: Apparently dynamic fees are completely broken in Monero. 🤦

It would be fantastic to be able to paste Monero payment links into the "pay to" field in the wallet and have it auto. populate the details from the link and make the TX ready to send.

Improved error messages

In some cases error messages provide too little information to be helpful or too much and it becomes confusing. I recently came across this post, which highlighted this issue and prompted me to make a change.
