For me they stopped eventually, but was there constantly for a few days after each injection. I tried three different esters and thought the newest one worked because of different ingredients, but when I tried one of the previous ones again I had no pains. I dunno if it was caused by stress, if me doing more exercise or eating better helped, or really have any good explanation for what happened and why it stopped.
I also did have some random but minor pains when I first started HRT, before I tried injections, but it was very bearable and stopped within a few weeks. To me it seemed like different kinds of pains because my body got new instructions etc, like my ligaments changing, but I don't really know. All I know is it was just briefly now and then before stopping.
How do you all feel about AI generated art? (rule)
So a recent post garnered some comments and reports for being AI art. In light of this we should all have a little conversation about how AI generated images should be handled in the future.
I think we all agree that AI images that are "garbage" or don't add anything should be removed, but clearly some feel very strongly that all AI art should always be removed.
It should be noted that the rules as written and as agreed on by the community does not blanket ban AI, it merely says AI art should be avoided, while many other rules say no this or that instead.
Things to discuss:
- Does it matter if an image is AI? Does it always matter?
- What about images that are AI generated, but have been modified by a human?
- What about images where it's hard to say for certain that it is generated? Me and the other mods did not agree on whether the recent image was AI f.ex which makes it hard to make a decision on whether or not to remove it.

Can you not see the image I posted in the comment? Anyways, the flowers are not merely blurred or smudged. The way the petals are drawn is not how a human would draw them. Looks at the lines on the petals. Don't think that I mistake imperfection for AI generation.

It's absolutely AI. The inconsistent arm length, the distorted/melty flowers in the third panel, the bottom of the TV stand, some other kinda melty/bendy lines here and there. The only thing to discuss really is whether or not pure AI art that isn't sloppy like this comic should be allowed or not because of the ethical implications of AI.

Estradiol (bioidentical) does this as well, it's not a limitation of just premarin. I have two cones so I would know! You need progesterone generally to get rounder boobs (it promotes the growth of the milk ducts, E just promotes growth of the breast tissue itself).
Now also, as a disclaimer, what I just said about cones and prog is partially anecdotal; prog hasn't been studied all that much yet, but quite a few transfems report cone boobs until they start prog (I will be starting it within a few months <3).

Yep. You risk a higher chance of getting blood clots on premarin. There may have been some other risks as well, but I don't remember those at the top of my head.
Fun fact! That pill is not commonly prescribed anymore (I hope it isn't prescribed anywhere at all really) as it is horse estrogen derived from the urine of pregnant horses! It used to be common back in the day, but these days we enjoy human estrogens instead with no extra side effects.

Unfortunately because of a lack of competence and sometimes because of malice it's not uncommon for trans people all over the world to receive essentially maltreatment from doctors. I recommend reading up about HRT and getting a doctor regardless (if possible). Being aware of what typically goes into hrt means you'll know if you are being given too small a dose of hormones or too large a dose of blocker etc. Additionally monotherapy (no blocker, only hormones) isn't all that commonly prescribed to transfems despite being a safer alternative.
I live in a country where getting diagnosed is a requirement for any kind of treatment (no informed consent) and getting diagnosed requires going to one of two clinics. Only one of the clinics accepts people from the entire country, and that one has a terrible reputation for purposefully stretching out the diagnostic process as much as possible (it can take many years to get diagnosed) and for being transmedicalist (among other things). The good clinic while also only taking patients from a single city also has a maximum age limit. In short if I want prescribed HRT my options aren't great if I need it soon.
I seriously doubt that unless they've been buying "hormone" supplements from amazon or something. The DIY community is a big network of sellers and users who check that everything is legit, and we always recommend blood tests for a number of reasons, but not because there is a high chance of getting scammed.
So either they are not buying from within the DIY community or your doc is lying to you.
