  • I got that error when I tried to login to lemmy.world. Worked fine with lemm.ee.

    .world is having issues at the moment.

  • I've already seen some placeholders in my feed. Not sure yet if the ads aren't ready yet, or if my myriad adblockers are doing their jobs.

  • Kind of off-topic, but second your dislike of iOS. I got an iPad at some point but after about an hour decided I was returning it: That device was so "locked-down", I couldn't stand it.

    I really love my iMac tho (haven't booted into Windows in months). 🤷‍♂️

  • I find Kiwi Browser essential. It's one of the only ones that you can install chrome extensions onto.

  • It looks like only Jerboa and something called Lemmur are the only two available on F-Droid at the moment?

    Jerboa works pretty well for me. I really like wefwef (a web app). Liftoff looks nice to me.

    Ultimately a lot of us are eagerly awaiting Sync for Lemmy!

    [edit] Having said all of that--I'm really having fun trying any and all of them as they arrive!

  • I'm nowhere near an expert, but it was so easy to root/flash my Pixel 7 Pro (especially with this tool: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/pixelflasher-for-google-pixel-7-pro-support-thread.4505287/), that I'll probably stick with Pixels for awhile?

  • Interesting. Liftoff has been the most problematic for me. I saw a meme yesterday about how slow it was. I'll have to try it again.
