  • I know this isn't grep or awk but of you simply want the first part I would probably use cut as following: ``` cut -d : -f 1

     undefined

Simply put, cut the line in multiple parts with the colon as the delimiter and choose the first part.

  • Pretty much never been except the last two years. Went to the following the last two years:

    • Live orchestra of Lord of the Rings music (really nice)
    • Eivør (really can't recommend her enough)
    • Heilung (Eivør as foreband, really amazing as always)
    • Planned to go listen to the Witcher music with live orchestra later this year.

It seems that once you find your niche and place to look it's really nice!

  • Yeah, it seems a lot of people are really happy with the Ally X, my main gripe with it is longevity and lack of touchpads. Playing RTS games like Banished (which I love) seems like it would be really miserable on a touchscreen instead of a touchpad.

  • As far as I've seen the Ally did indeed have those problems but they have been fixed with the Ally X, it seems many people are very happy with them but it also seems that Asus RMA process is a bit hit or miss.

  • Steam Deck @sopuli.xyz

Steam deck OLED 1TB or Asus ROG Ally X with Bazzite?

I'm looking to buy the steam deck or simply the Ally X and put Bazzite on it. Does anyone here have any experience with Bazzite on the Ally?

I'm not quite sure the Ally X is worth it as it's about 25% more expensive then the deck and it seems to have a smaller screen though it does have VRR.

It seems battery life is pretty comparable but it seems the Ally X has better performance but, again, is it worth it? I do have a pretty powerfull PC at home (9700X with 6800xt) that I guess I could always remote play or simply go sit at the desk.

I don't play any recent AAA games, the most demanding I would play would probably be Witcher 3 or Red dead redemption 2 (haven't started yet).

I do however like to play games the likes of Banished or Factorio and I'm worried that's not going to be possible without the touchpads on the steam deck.

I'm also worried about the longevity of the Ally X and access to spare parts and accessories.

  • I did a similar thing. Down from about 104kg to 74kg (30kg loss) (180cm tall and 30 years of age). Didn't do any changes at all except drastically lower my food consumption in steps and totally stopped with sugar (soft drinks, candy, crisps and so on). In the beginning I lost about 1kg/week but of course that slows down.

It's awesome not being winded after going up the stairs or having acid reflux.

    • What color was the ball? Grey.
    • What gender was the person that pushed the ball? No idea, was there even a person? Couldn't really get it to move more than just rolling along.
    • What did they look like? Se above, I've no idea as I couldn't really image a person.
    • What size is the ball? Like a marble, or a baseball, or a basketball, or something else? Like a palintar in lord of the rings (commonly known as a "seeing stone" I believe?).
    • What about the table, what shape was it? What is it made of? Couldn't image a table, it just kinda layed in the emptyness.

TDLR, can't really image stuff and really can't image people, who especially not faces.

  • Holy shit. That would probably have been a quick in and talk with a doctor and a quick test for about 15 USD + maybe 20 USD for the antibiotics here in Sweden. No monthly coverage other then state taxes.

  • Yup, I seem to remember the same thing and I also seem to remember it being loaded at boot. Iirc you can stop it when the system has started and you've logged in but then you have to reboot in order for it to load again so you can plain. But same, I also don't use windows and haven't played leaugh for many many years.
