Mass phone tracking via cell tower dumps ruled unconstitutional

  • Cell signals don’t reach satellites… even if they did the signal wouldn’t provide any sort of positioning data.

  • I tried to effect change for 8 years. I gave up when Americans decided that they wanted the shit world. My mental health can’t handle it, I literally am losing years of my life with every moment I spend reading about how the people in this country are hell bent on turning it into the worst possible existence.

  • I play a ton of DnD and pathfinder. I just didn’t get the comic. Especially about the stillborn child, which wouldn’t be stillborn if it was saved. And the final two panels didn’t make sense to me at all so thanks for explaining that. I didn’t get 3 of the 4 panels.

  • Buy small business level/enterprise grade stuff and it will last you decades. I haven’t needed to touch my router in a decade, it just works. Well I think it’s been a decade. Hard to keep track. Notably, enterprise stuff will have the AP (access point) split out from the router since they’re actually two separate things. Only consumer stuff has them combined.

  • It’s not a keyboard mod, it’s Mac software that does something that’s already freely available and open source in Hammerspoon. I’ve seen that dude acting like his project is some crazy new thing, but he just ignored the already existing software that does his thing and much more.

  • No you put both of them outside and then try to resolve it. Then no matter what happens the station is still ok. They both have comms, nothing is gained by letting either in.

  • I found a government article from Minnesota from 2014, with sources from then so I’m not sure it was without evidence back then either.

    That study from MN references a bunch of sources including one from 2010. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/20623271/

    So yeah this is old news, really really old news.
