You're trying really hard to be objectively correct about this silliness. No wonder there's a stigma about coffee snobs.
The political party founded on ignoring things for personal bias would just ignore another thing.
I'm not trying to attack you, but this would be like believing that once the right were informed that not all immigrants are murdering rapists then all of MAGA would be just so gosh darned embarrassed.
No, they'd yell "fake news" and send another innocent person to die in a foreign prison.
This is an unverified reddit comment, so please take with discretion:
One of the assistant mods posted about this on the Subreddit Drama thread. They explained that it seems to have been a confluence of two issues: 1) Reddit, reportedly at the behest of Elon, is using AI to crack down on a wide spectrum of political comments. So automated moderation has already been made high sensitive. 2) Tesla and more specifically the Cybertruck have become a symbol of the frustration towards Elon, thus the Cyberstuck subreddit became a lightning rod for charged political comments.
Combine 1 & 2 above and the head mod is now getting a lot more work dropped in their lap. The assistant mod says the head mod was getting more angry by the day and seems to have just snapped. Like I said, I didn't verify this and no way to know if other forces were acting behind the scenes.
Column 2 status would absolutely make sense if we weren't talking about an administration that slapped tariffs on penguins.
Russia still has billions in trade with the US, far more than any of the other three in column 2 and far more than the vast majority of trade partners assigned tariffs. The tariffs were assigned with a simple trade deficit calculation that Russia was spared. If anything, that this administration is so eager to "get even" that it slaps tariffs on penguins while missing one of its largest trade deficits says more about their lack of attention to detail than anything else.
Doesn't think switch is groundbreaking. Proceeds to list handheld that wouldn't exist without the Switch breaking that ground. lol
Google search feels like it has stopped being the magic it was. Now whenever I search for something I might not find it underneath all the stuff on sale. For the first time in I don't know how many years I've been finding myself using something else like Duck Duck Go.
Trump followed a consistent, rigid math: Whatever the trade deficit, then that's the tariff applied... except for Russia. Russia is #23 on our list of trade partners. Following the math they should have a hefty tariff applied, but they don't. It's the only exception.
Only two genders: male and political.
There’s no appreciable difference between the ads, the propaganda, the creators honest content and the creators paid content.
Well said.
Most decent manufacturers have their own website and fast shipping. I had to leave Amazon just for the fake and damaged merchandise alone.
The monumental level of troll farming performed by the Russian state suggests they are deserving of few allies.
Rome creates a desert and calls it peace.
As an American, we are all going to suffer and the earlier the better. Time and time again we see that the only way Trump supporters change is if they are personally affected. Thus we all need to pay in order to see change.
That's the free space
Yes, nothing bad will happen to those who live in the new temperate climates while potential billions become displaced climate refugees.
If covid and Trump have taught me anything it's that the majority of people aren't willing to do a damned thing until they themselves are hurt in some way. Based on this and my experience with peoples' unwillingness to admit they're wrong, I'd say we'll keep going until the majority of people tap-out from the heat.
In other words, we're just screwed.
I work out a lot more and eat healthier when I'm WFH. Doesn't come close.
I've had some help from Quora, but overall I feel it wastes my time a lot more than not. And I've never had an instance where only Quora had the answer.
A BIG ROCK CANDY MOUNTAIN REFERENCE? IN THIS CENTURY?!
With the proper modernized correction as well. Bravo.
Why is the default position assuming this person is a menace enough to spend resources seeking out and removing? The studies I've seen say immigrants use fewer resources and provide more, but this narrative gets spread around that they're just a bunch of leeches that deserve to be punished at great expense.
That's not justice. That's blindly following a law because you don't know how to think or empathize.
