  • People don't even look at AI generated photos for more than a second. "Oh neat, next." SO much wasted electricity for instant garbage. One decent AI image has probably a 100+ shitty ones that are just wasting GPUs and hard drive space. When those drives are full and old they dump them and then fill up some more. A mountain of invisible shit wasting our resources.

  • The amount of energy it must take to generate a shitty version of Quake II. Yeesh.

  • The only negative opinions I care about for gaming usually come from Stephanie Sterling, because she's pretty much right every time.

  • I'm pretty sure they technically are but no one cares enough to stop their sale. Obama banned "vape flavorings targeting children" which all of them seem to be. I've only seen them for sale in vape/tobacco shops. Places that get regulated, like gas stations, aren't carrying them. At least around where I am in the USA.

Edit. Doing further research... I guess they didn't?

  • At first glance I thought this was some weird soup.

Rubbed my eyes and now I see the cute little ones.

  • When there is so much AI slop out in the world that it makes you question whether something is AI or not. That's definitely erasing human creativity.

  • Steam requires devs to place it right before the system requirements if they use it. Pretty big print, pretty easy to find. You can see it plain as day on the Black Ops 6 page.

  • I was just using his name?

  • Hey dumbass, Flint Dibble knows his shit.

  • Awesome, appreciate the information!

Edit. Got it set up and configured. So far I'm liking it a lot.

  • It's been 2 hours since they posted it and that post count is climbing. Yeesh.

  • I want to get off T-Mobile and move away from my Apple products. But everything I could switch to sucks too.😭

  • I try to stay a patient gamer. If you do you're usually rewarded with a discounted, patched up game with content it probably should have launched with. The exception I've been using for myself recently for AAA games is, is a the game a single player experience with no micro-transactions? If yes, I'll buy it day one or close to it. I do want to show them that I'm willing to pay full price for these games if they aren't predatory pieces of shit.

  • Back when you also got a physical product with an instruction manual and possibly a poster or something else. Now we get a digital license that can be revoked and six months to a year of patching for it to be in a stable state. Yay!

    Just something to consider...

  • Wait.. when was this? Who did this?

I know of some specific instances of like community managers or a single employee clapping back. Apparently they speak for every employee and the entire studio? Is that how this works?

  • "Look at all this money we saved! Lets spend it!"

    Uhhhh

  • I was thinking about sitting with some signage near their Super Chargers close to my place. That's the only thing close to here. But it's something.

AntiMicroX - Anyone with experience using controller remapping applications?

Hi Beehaw! I've finally made the switch to Linux, I'm using Nobara OS based on Fedora. It's been very nice so far (I had tried to go with Arch but Nvidia drivers ehhh). I'm running into issues remapping controls to my Xbox Adaptive Controller. Was hoping someone here might have some input.

I use foot controls for WASD control on a foot joystick and 2 other functions mapped to the L and R triggers, depending on game. Most of the time I'm just mapping them to a single key.

The problem I'm running into is getting dual inputs sent to the game. AntiMicroX is sending the remapped key but the game is also getting Left Trigger sent to the game. I've tried unmapping the buttons on the controller in Steam's Controller configurator and also disabling Steam Input for the game completely. But I'm still having issues in Helldivers 2 sending both. As an example, I have left trigger remapped to open Strategems, but it makes me ADS as well.

I did have this same issue in Windows sometimes but I used

Should I play Dark Souls original or Remaster?

I already own the original, but back when I got it I was unable to play due to the poor control schemes since I am disabled. Now I own an Xbox Adaptive Controller that I used to play through Elden Ring pretty well. I'd love to go back and play some of the earlier games.

I already own the original. Is it in any better state to play? I remember needing to add a fan patch to fix a lot of the issues. Or should I just get the Remaster and call it a day? Is there a recommended play order? I do see people recommending 3 over the first two if you're coming off Elden Ring.

    Appreciate your opinions.
