Navigation Bug - Swiping back from Profile changes feed

Reproduction Steps:

  1. Open Connect
  2. Switch to another account
  3. Open the Profile page from the sidebar
  4. Back out of the Profile page

Expected Behavior: User will be returned to the feed from step 2. before checking their Profile

Observed Behavior: User is returned to the default feed of the account from step 1.

Extra Information: This bug requires the user to be logged into more than one account. The different feed that's presented is the default feed of whichever account Connect is started with. You can change which account Connect starts with by switching to whichever account you want, exit out of Connect and swipe it away, and then open Connect again.

    1. If you aren't seeding (no one is downloading the torrent), then your bandwidth should not be used (besides a miniscule amount). So it shouldn't waste your bandwidth. Is your concern about wasting bandwidth more about seeding a torrent when there are other seeders available? So you want to prioritize torrents that have zero other seeders?
    2. It looks like this tool Jackett (I've never used it before; just found it in a search) can be configured to allow your system to query trackers for torrents and return the number of seeders and leechers. But a lot of assembly would be required. And the freshness of results would depend on how often trackers update their stats - definitely not real-time.

For a torrent application that can do what Jackett does in real-time by connecting directly to the torrent and prioritizing bandwidth to torrents that have leechers and no other seeders, I'll leave that to others in the community more familiar with the topic.

  • Yeah, but it looks like there's quite a bit of cheese melted on top of two of those servings of eggs. Plus the potatoes may have been roasted with an unhealthy oil. I agree, everything in moderation. For most meals, this person should stick to one serving of bachelor chow.

  • Yes, the games are tied to your steam account. You should be able to login to the steam account you purchased the games on, download, install and play those games on any devices that are supported. Some games are Windows-only, but with wine and whatnot, some of those games are playable on Linux. Some games have extra DRM which might prevent you from playing on unsupported (usually non-Windows) systems.

    Playing videos cannot be stopped

If a video begins playing, it cannot be kept paused. The play/pause control appears only when the video is full-screen. The video can be paused in full-screen, but when pressing the X to close out of full-screen, the video begins playing again.

Scrolling away from the video or navigating to another feed/community does not pause the video either.

This is most noticable on videos with audio, where the audio continues long after trying to navigate away.
