Yes this js not a new plan, we've known hes been planning this for a while. Hes been bombarding the whole province with ads for ages, well before the tariff business.
Hopefully Germany learns from what has happened elsewhere and deals with this aggressively

youre right, but choose a candidate because theyre good, not someone based on how the right will respond. Literally any candidate is going to be portrayed as Stalin by the right.
I am also a female metalhead who does not dress spooky. It true, we all carry around soup cans
Yes. Out of touch and also disdainful of the entertainment his compankes make, seemingly.
Hes the kind of guy who would attend a TCM event with famous directors and talk about how he loved film, only to attempt killing off the whole channel not long after (he was talked out of it by some of those same directors)
He hates all entertainment that isnt cheap reality TV, and is the worst possible person to oversee an entertainment empire.
i also have the right to boycott everything in her orbit, because she is a hateful disinfo spreading terf who is going to get people hurt.
You are correct about this, Im not disagreeing.
Im just saying it would be nice to have the choice between the traditional oath and a non-royal version for whatever personal reason. "I promise to be loyal, steadfast, and obey the laws of Canada" (etc). Seems like that wouldnt negate the technical role of the monarchy, I dont know.
Even acknowledging that he plays a legal role in how Canada operates (technically) its still ridiculous that anyone would have to do this, or get in trouble for refusing. An oath to obey the laws of a country, sure, but swearing loyalty to an unelected monarch seems like it should be optional at the least.
how would it lead to less good stuff?
Sorry, this isnt just about banning twitter because they dont like it. This happening because Twitter is boosting all manner of hate speech, misinformation, disgusting content and calling for violence against vulnerable people. Its an unmoderated far right propoganda hose. Free societies should ban nazi propaganda actually, we know what happens when you tolerate this stuff or brand it as "just another opinion."
ive heard some people theorizing his nomination is also a distraction from Tulsi Gabbards nomination . Gaetz is monopolizing most of the conversation around the nominations when he has a shaky chance at being confirmed at all. Gabbard is way more likely to cause serious damage to national security.
I wasnt suggesting "burying my head in the sand" or ignoring politics generally. I just half assedly read the article and thought it was more about a big corporation throttling the project, but I clearly missed the point entirely. Youre right.
... you are being sarcastic, right?

Thoughts on the game Timberborn
Humans are long gone. In a world struck by droughts and toxic waste, will your lumberpunk beavers do any better? A city-building game featuring ingenious animals, vertical architecture, water physics, and terraforming. Contains high amounts of wood.
Has anybody given this game a try? I've been considering it for a while, but money is tight. Curious if it was worth it.
Or conversely, other other new simulation games you would recommend?

I am looking for more games like this: though this list seems like a good starting point.
Anybody have any recommendations or experiences with city builders (the less-stressful variety, not like Frostpunk or something haha)
Thanks!
